Hey Thanks man. It was done in frustration as I was going to do the helmet after and go for the ANH look, but then I found a replacement armor on eBay for the rogue one Vader. It cost me 45 bucks but it is worth it to erase my mistake. I just really hate super glue with a passion. Lol
The smallest little bit got on the front somehow from my finger and that's all it took to ruin that shiny armour.

For future reference, acetone (nail polish remover) will dissolve super glue. That said, I'm not sure what the acetone would do to plastic, but more info can be found here:

So I was swapping the chest armor under the tunic on my Rogue One Vader. In doing so the velcro piece came off so I figured no big deal I'll just use a little super glue on it. Well I should have known better because I am literally the worst at using super glue and I somehow got a little dab on the armor which of course to ruined the paint.
So I bought a replacement chest armor that's on the way and in the meantime I figured I'd mess with the one that I screwed up and try to make it look like a new hope. Honest opinions am I close at all? Anyone need some spare chest armor? Lol
I lightly sanded the glue away so it's smooth and gave it some light coats of gun metal and black dry brushing.
I was so mad at myself I just can't wait till the other Armor gets here so I can have my shiny Rogue one Vader back
