I `m currently using the RO vader body suit on the V1 body fits good. I see that`s what they did for there V2 as I noticed the body suit on the original was to puffy.

yes it has. I`m working on a custom light up saber arm. I used an old sideshow ANH vader gauntlet trying to figure out a way to use over the extra HT ANH Vader led light up saber arm since the new one has the wrong lightsaber handle fixed in it.

Yeah, it's a ***** I was annoyed enough with the gloves versus base body that I used a dremmel tool and sanded down the forearms on the actual base body. Sounds drastic, but in actuality, I went pretty modest on the actual sanding-down part.

I do like the newer boots that has the strap. I 'assume' that the Tarkin Vader has the same ones used in the Rogue one version?

Well, I managed to total screw the pooch on the nose job I gave Vader helmet from the tarkin set enough I had get out some plastic putty to save it. LOL. Man, I am cursed with the nose mod.

Yeah, that works. On the cod piece: on the original v1, which I've been told is the same as the new: I just tucked in the strap that goes between the legs....easier to pull it up/down or however. On the actual costume, seemed to be the chest armor/chest box, then belt are all pretty close to each other. Most pull the cod piece up to match.
The boots actually seem like the V1but with added straps. Rogue One boots seemed way too tight and skinny in my V1 Vader when I tried them, it made the legs of the suit bunch up.

For the cod piece, you’re describing the original method that paramore first did and most everyone used as well.

I had it like that for a while but found a better result by hiking up the pants as tight as they could go and then putting the cod piece back on the way it came. This made the legs appear less stumpy too, and raised the cod piece.

Seeing all these mods makes me want to mod my V1 but I honestly don't have the time (mostly guts) to them. Is there anybody that offers their services?

Without doing any stitching or painting, is there a list of parts from the various Vaders that would make him accurate? I have the R1 and Tarkin Vaders.

I have a V2 ANH Vader. I picked up the V1 lightsaber and shoulder armor to make it more movie accurate.

They are velcroed on, so yes they could be interchangeable. But the RO shin guards are shiny, ANH version shouldn't be shiny so they'd be wrong.

They’re also the wrong design near the bottom of the shin guard . Completely different.

Instead of the Rogue One gloves, did anyone ever try the original ANH Sideshow gloves?

I seem to recall they were too long - almost like ladies' fashion gloves - perhaps because that SSC ANH fig was so way-tall so maybe everything was overscaled..

Yeah, I guess I just don’t remember any pics of people trying them on.

Just saw a pic of the set of them on eBay and they seem to have a nicer sheen than the Rogue One Vader gloves.

I shortened them back in the day with a scalpel or x-acto blade. It was very easy to do using the lines in the gloves as a guide.

I’ve got them on mine. Use needle-nose pliers to pull the sideshow pin out, push the hot toys wrist joint in. I think I heated the gloves up first. Gloves unmodified.
