I’ve got them on mine. Use needle-nose pliers to pull the sideshow pin out, push the hot toys wrist joint in. I think I heated the gloves up first. Gloves unmodified.

That is a great pic!! Almost looks like a promo image of a person in costume... :clap

As for the gloves, I never tried the SS ANH on my HT ANH v1 Vader, but I have the original SS ANH Vader (as well as the SS ESB/ROTJ Deluxe) on display right next to him. The SS gloves are a little flatter (less shiny) in finish, but the ribbing on the top of the gloves is a lot less pronounced. I would say the v2 gloved hands I picked up are much nicer in sculpt. But the SS would still be a nice addition and better than the original 2 piece design the HT ANH Vader v1 came with.

oh THIS is fantastic!! Thanks for the info, Mark... I thought the SS plugs were molded in... so this is great!! did you need to sand down the arms at all??

Nope. It helps that Prowse, himself, had a bit of the gorilla arms. Also, my Vader body is modified with Roadblock legs, so I’m not sure how it will look on a stock body (proportionately).

Looks great on yours, McHaleyArt. I have the Rogue One gloves but was still curious. Just added the studs to the chestbox straps. Couldn't get them any closer -- I think studs the next size down might be better (like what the bandolier for Chewie uses) as these seem a bit prominent, but don't see any of those in my parts bin.

Where did you get the studs from? I’d like to do that to mine.

McHaleyArt isn’t using the HT Vader body though. I remember the shoulders seeking too large on the HT body — not sure if the suit would need some mods.

I remember a few years ago people were stuffing muzzle bodies into it. It can’t be that hard, can it?

The Hot Toys v1 body as well as the v2 body as it’s virtually identical should have no problem fitting into the SSC ANH Vader bodysuit. While I don’t have pics to prove it I had one with that set up...

I finally caved and ordered a Tarkin and Vader 2-pack. I'm not interested in the Tarkin, I got it to build a proper ANH Vader to complement my custom ROTJ Vader.

Here’s a better look:

That looks really great, McHaley! Loving the proportions.

Are you by any chance familiar with the HT MMS117 Terminator T-800 body? Could the legs of that be close in size and proportion to the roadblock ones? I have one of those in my parts bin.

I believe they are the same legs. You have to drill holes, up through the ankle chamber so the Vader boots will fit.
