Not much different than the SSC version.
The accessories are lacking.
Sound effects?
That worked well with ED209 right?
Another easy pass!

Did a PS edit of all the common suggestions so far. Looks a lot more accurate with all of it applied.

Nice work. Although it looks like the black on the chest armor needs to be toned down as well.

Gonna be an epic figure regardless, every Vader release has had its shares of good and bad points. I can sense the good in him... and from the looks of it, finally don't have to dink with the darn helmet (hopefully), gosh dang it.

For a figure that looks this good, the accessories and base sure are unimpressive. They're definitely putting out a ROTJ version in the future. Going to guess now that the base will be the bottom half of his sphere command center thingy*, if not the whole thing.

*forgive my lack of SW tech knowledge, but at least I know the name of Boba Fett's ship :D

Looks good but is missing that ANH menace, IMO. Wish the sabre didn't light up but will be picking it up, of course. Curious about a two pack with Obi. Also, very happy about the inclusion of the interrogator droid.

Surprised there is no 2 pack.

Sound effects and light-up effects are gimmicks i can do without. Fun for a few minutes and then you never use them again.

Suit looks good. Pictures are clearly photoshoped though.

Q2-3 looks like we are getting this sooner than i thought.

Not looking forward to the $300 Sideshow price. Wish i didn't buy the ROTJ version now, oh well.

Very unhappy they are using the same height as the SS version :slap

The mask had 'red' eye lenses, & was actually missing a tusk on film.

That above pic Holo just posted, demonstrates that perfectly. :duff

Unless the til was missing in the shot, for the rest of the film it was weathered black....

Btw shoulder bells are wrong....look like sideshows design.....

Glad they have used the thin tapered sabre style. Way better than the recent SS sausage Sabres and some of the dodgy custom tube versions I've seen around.

And it lights? :Rock

Those pics are way too photoshopped to make much of a call, but I bet it will be great.

Watching Star Wars right now I'm so hyped. :D

We definitely need Farm Luke & Leia next. Watching this makes me want a couple more Stormtroopers too, for a small army display. Though I suppose I should save some room for Sandtroopers. Oh my poor poor wallet.

Wow - this figure is looking a whole lot better (even if the pics have some photoshop.) Really looking forward to this.

Where is the $300 price listed that people are referencing?

The pleather gloves are a pretty cool idea - were the movie gloves two distinct pieces, glove and gauntlet?

Love the mimic pose of the first 1977 Vader poster.

Difficult choice this. I only need one Vader, I've so far resisted SS's offerings because I didn't like them. This looks good enough to buy, but do I hang on for the HT ROTJ version?

Sadly, the other pictures in this series has not been released and only very few people have them. I sadly haven't seen them, but know they exist. I believe it was mentioned that some or all of the other pictures were slightly out of focus, but I really don't know. But I have some other from other photoshoots.

Thanks a lot! :wave

I'm not Vader expert but I think that tusk was just painted black and not missing.
