I know natedog has a picture of him in his custom thread with the ht outer robe and the ss pants and tunic
i posted a couple pics a few pages back with the ss inner tunic. the pics i took of the whitened tunic were abit washed out. ill try and take some natural light ones when i get natural light. its not that white.
well i couldnt leave him alone. the fabric bugged me too much. i liked the sideshow inner tunic but didnt like the color . so here is the ht obi with the ss tunic whitened with acrylic paint. the pic isnt picking up the details but they are there.

There's not much I don't like about the HT Obi-Wan figure. Very human, extremely life-like, gorgeous paint app...I just don't think it looks much like Alec.

Just got mine. Beautiful figure. Likeness is definitely there in hand. I'm not a fan of the tunic material or color so I'm playing with at least toning down the yellow and brightness of it. I definitely prefer the SS tunic but other than that I like it much better than Sideshow's.

yeah I still pefer the ss tunic it looks more movie accurate. that`s how I have it on my ben with the ht robe and ss tunic
I'd be using SS's had I kept mine but as it is I've darkened HT's enough that I'm ok with them...for now.
I got this figure tonight, and briefly took him out and looked him over. A very nice figure in my opinion. Likeness was always there, and is still there in-hand to my eyes. And I think the robe works really well. The material hangs nicely. Hood is a bit pointy, but also reminds me of that first scene where he scares off the Sand People.
Gonna make a nice complement to the rest of the crew when I get them. But this is one figure that I wouldn't want as a stand alone.

Anyone else having a tough time getting the name plate off of the stand? Didn't have this issue with any of the other ones. Was thinking of using the Sandtrooper base for him to have a tatooine feel.

Yes, I found it was wedged solid. I tried to adjust it because it's a little crooked.
Ironically ANH Luke's nameplate falls off very easily.
The force is weak with ANH Luke. At least the Tatooine version.

Was finally able to pry the plaque off of Obi-wan's stand to use on one of the Sandtrooper stands.

OMG HOW?! I cut my thumb trying to get his plaque off. I still don't understand why his plaque doesn't come off.Was finally able to pry the plaque off of Obi-wan's stand to use on one of the Sandtrooper stands.
