I think they glued this one for some reason (or by accident). I unscrewed the bottom and slid a thin screw driver straight down in order to loosen the glue, and then i almost gave up but after another couple pushes it popped off pretty cleanly.

Don't understand the point of that shot. Here's what he looks like without all his clothes, missing the saber arm or regular arm, but with his boots, head, and body padding.

No problem switching it onto other bases though?

It seems to fit okay on the sand base now. It was definitely touch and go and I almost gave up so I can't say I'd recommend doing it, but it can be done. The glue seemed to only be along the two vertical slots that the stand fits into so the method I used was probably the way to go--unscrew and then fit a thin small flat screw driver head between the plastic part and the plaque at those two spots.

The plastic inside seemed to get stretched/damaged a bit but you don't see that once you screw the base back together, just internally.

My Obi-Wan just arrived and I'm very impressed with the details! The robe is a bit creased though; How should I go about straightening it out? Iron?

I just saw the actual Guiness film worn Ep 4 Obi costume at the Chinese Theatre (lobby) and it is wrinkled, creased and looks kind of beat up, the belt is very worn and the tunic is a shade darker than the HT. SSC actually got that right. The hood is very pointed and has a feather/strand of loose threads hanging out of one side (right side).

I might water treat my tunic with tea.

Just opened mine. Figure looks great. This is my first human figure and seeing the gloss of the eyes for the first time in person is crazy. Gives it that extra something. Even my wife was like "wow"
