Great stuff guys.

Love this fig.

"You can't win Darth." Why does he call him Darth? I mean for real. Let's be honest. If you chopped off his legs and left him to die would you be so chill and call him Darth?

From what we're given/told in the OT I still have a hard time believing Kenobi did all that. Just would have been good ammunition to turn Luke against Kenobi but Vader never mentions any of it. When Obi-Wan says "He's more machine than man now"--it's just still hard to accept the other part of that idea--"since I chopped off all his limbs and left him for dead burning in Mustafar."

It's fine to imagine some of it happening from a battle with Kenobi, but I like to imagine it happened slowly over the course of many battles due to reckless abandon, the type of thing you see in Ren a bit. Always think how cool it would have been if while he was still a Jedi even he was turning into a Malgus looking character, transitioning into the Vader we know.

"Darth" is a title that defines something that you are. Like calling someone Captain, or Assassin. You could think of it as dramatic effect to call him by what he is instead of his name.

Great Pics masterside...

Those are some amazing shots of an amazing figure! I cannot wait till I get mine.

The money-shots right there. :rock It "IS" Sir Alec Guiness, from a certain point of view...

Yep, those are great shots. Going to wait until ol' Obi shows in-stock at SSC, then strike...

Congrats and thanks for sharing those pics Masterside! I am so glad I have this figure!

Amazing shots. Cheers for that Master side. I gotta get this asap. 😊

Okay, no more quoting master side. Great pics but we don't need to see them all again and again.

It's not a bad sculpt (apart from the curly-wurly beard). Sir Alec is certainly in there. The problem is the expression. Obi-Wan always had a gentle, almost mirthful/playful look about him. This looks determined, almost obstinate. That's what lets the sculpt down.

I agree. But I think what throws it off the most are the eyes. I think they should be a more rounded.

The obvious answer is because that was supposed to be his name originally, not his title. In regards to making it fit with how things turned out, I would say that despite Obi-Wan's tone, he is mocking that title. He is taunting Vader and buying everyone else time to escape. That's my take anyway.

And yes, great fig, I love it too!

Would love for someone to re edit the scene. "Nice legs"

My Obi-Wan has finally joined the younger versions of himself, as well as his little green friend.
