Wouldn't go quite that far but he does look like a great figure and a striking character... considering securing one of these to go along with the FO Trooper I already got on PO, hope he's that good on film1

A lot of prequel deniers have probably forgotten WHY they hate them, all they know is they MUST hate them with the fury of a billion suns!

Waterworld was a movie that received unwarranted hate/criticism (even before it debuted). The PT, though rated low, has been artificially pumped by people with rose-colored glasses and shills. Compared to other movies of the time they're just bad movies. Even compared to the abominations that were the Matrix sequels, they don't hold up.

So you read the screenplay?

No, not directly, Indirectly... I know ;) on very good information that they are not mentioned, I don't need to prove myself, I am telling you the truth...plus add this...

J.J. Abrams promises no midi-chlorians in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' - LA Times

Disney knows what is at stake here, they have 4 billion riding on it, that is why they hired Abrams and Kasdan. Like it or not they are trying to distance themselves from the prequels as much as possible. The whole point of this movie is to bring back the mystery of the Force. When you see what they have done you will get it.

:yess:

And this rumour, posted earlier, supposedly emanating from the crew:

JJ dislikes the prequels and unintentionally ruffled Lucas' feathers in the writer's room, leading to some bitterness from Lucas who stopped coming in as often

I will say without getting into too much detail, that in early meetings with Abrams and Kasden and Disney, there was a list of things that were "not received well" from the prequels, and midichlorians were on it. This new trilogy will build on the OT because it shares characters and it will reference the PT about as much as the OT did. Oh wait the OT didn't refer back to the prequels... So don't expect the new movies to, they don't need to. It will be a much more cohesive story how the OT and the ST tie together. This is why Michael Arndt was let go, because JJ and Kasdan get that. There are a lot of themes that come with Kasdan he has had for a long time, some are outlined in the JW Rinzler making of ROTJ book. ;)

This goes against what's said in the Empire article. Not sure what to make of it all. Guess we'll know for sure in three months.

I guess the words right from the director's mouth to print aren't suitable enough? :slap

In an interview with MTV news at the "Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation" premiere, the "Episode 7" director revealed that midi-chlorians would not referenced by anybody in his film.

The way I see it measuring midi-chlorine became obscure with the fall of the Jedi.

None of this is real, we're talking about movies. They existed in one set of movies because someone screwed up and introduced them into an already terrible script. They don't exist any more because someone with more than half a brain and taste decided not to re-use terrible ideas from terrible movies.

I'm so glad that is getting dropped/ignored.

The new pics of Kylo Ren look killer. Want him flanked by a couple of troopers in my detolf.

Those new pictures look great! I really like the robe. Still not totally sold on the helmet look and I won't have space for this but it looks great.

And reading Jack Bauers posts make me excited about TFA. :)
