Was that an actual cut scene from the film, or just something made for the trailer? I don't recall if I ever heard.

It was made specifically for the trailer. The director or producer said they never wrote any scenes like that for the movie, it was only to get people excited and to show Iron Man was in the movie.

It's a really cool looking armor, but not one I'd be tempted to spend crazy amounts of money on like the Mark 5 or WM 1. And yet it somehow goes for a whole lot more than those.

Yeah it’s the short run. Newer collectors flock to this one, due to the scarcity me thinks. The clean head and sunglasses TS sculpt are actually the highlights of the set. I used them for infinity war tony tech suit.

This reads like you're surprised that it has a high market value because you personally don't prefer it?

Just a quick home-for-lunch snap. I'm in honest awe.

No, there are alot of collectors that are really surprised with the after-market prices of the Mark 47. I own it myself and agree it is a beautiful piece, but the prices on eBay are stupid ridiculous. I hope they do a reissue so that other collectors have a chance to grab it again at retail.

The prices high or low are dictated by us as fans so I dunno'; personally if there are people out there paying said prices I don't see it as a surprise that people list it at whatever price. I wouldn't personally pay what I see others pay but I'm not "shocked."

Anyways I just want to get back to posting pictures of and reviewing this fantastic piece. Hope that anyone actually interested in purchasing one is able to find it at a price that they themselves find reasonable because that's what actually matters.

I still kick myself for canceling my preorder back in the day. Back then three hundred plus a figure was ”nuts” to me. I just got the 50, and the 85, and mark 4 war machine is on preorder. I wish they would Reissue all the armors personally, not just for me as I do have some. I just feel they could make more money and people could complete there collections. While I like the idea of having a rare figure prices around 600 and up make me feel I should just sell it. I just start to think I should get rid of this before it’s not worth anything (sold my marvel legends dragon man for this reason).

So you cancelled the preorder but have since bought it?
