No interest in this one. Nothing about it seems iconic imo; more like a "bloke in a rubber suit" as someone mentioned much earlier.

Kotobukiya's Fine Art Thor from the Avengers Reborn line is an infinitely better piece imo. Best Chainmail armor Thor in the wild... they aren't easy to find though, or cheap.

Still, I'm pleased for everyone getting this piece. Different strokes for different folks

I see. It seems like an apples and oranges comparison to me, then. Sideshow produces some awesome statues, but I really couldn't compare them with Hot Toys figures.

If you want to lump all collectibles into a single category, I like the new Thor Minimate better than all the others.

I love everything about this figure, except for the body, which looks way too thin. I'm wondering whether it will be possible to buy a TT muscular body and use that instead of the one that comes with the fig. Since it looks like there is some slack in the clothes, it will certainly be possible to increase bulk in the shoulder, arm and thigh areas I guess?

hard to say that the bodies will fit in the Thor gear though. usually the clothes are meant to fit the bodies pretty accurately so throwing a bigger body in would at the very least limit articulation
