Yeah I see that, Thor will look better I think according to the Hasbro figures. His hair is way more normal looking and not so "pretty boy" he has different pants and boots as well. Hard to say which look HT will go with, sleeveless or how about the option of either instead of some large plastic display piece like the rock for the hammer?

The costume in the Avengers will be different. In all of the Superhero movies thus far, the costume has been tweaked a little from movie to movie.

Watching a video interview on G4 from mattel rep, he showed 3 3/4" Thor from the Avengers movie (with sleeves), and said this is "one of the costumes Thor will be wearing".

from what i could tell from the leaked trailer, Thor's sleeveles armor has a lot red toward the back

it's almost like the cape is tucked into it, unlike in the Thor movei where it seemed to come off completely

there is also a shot of Thor throwing the hammer and his armor is sleeveless

so this poster certainly seems to contradict that, i think it was said earlier that he may have a change part way through to the sleeveless armor, i reckon they're right

his new armor also looks a lot darker, much more ultimates style

Well going by the figure his pants and boots are redesigned aswell, however when I watched the trailer he was sleeveless in the beginning as he was during his film for a little while but when I saw the shot of him throwing his hammer at the end of the trailer after the title he not only has his cape back but the sleeves were there too.

are you sure about that?

i'm almost 100% certain he had no sleeves when he throws Mjolnir at the end

This is conceptual, all of the art is. Even Iron Man's mark didn't match what was in the trailer from that poster. When the trailers hit the web and the first official nails out we'll see but

According to rumors, Thor and Iron Man have a fight amongst themselves which is where the "That's a nice swing" line comes from. So there are rumors that the reason that Thor and Iron Man look so different is because it's a direct result of their fight. New look and new Mark because of the damage inflicted.

At least we're finally getting Iron Monger for IM.

The good thing about them being Avengers though is that even minus the villains, they'll still look good assembled together as they should be.

RS and Loki are a must though.

HT is so unpredictable though , just like my wife at the end of the month.
