At this point in time there is no need to pre-order. As has been mentioned there was a time when you'd better get you're pre-order in asap or you'll pay for it in the end.

And to be honest that's a good thing. I'm finding out that I can live without many of these releases.

Ht has literally THOUSANDS of dollars of new releases this year- something has got to go

Freaks are selling older stuff right now at slashed prices.

Collections are being scrutinized and paired down.

These aren't the days of 5-6 new HT figures a year. HT will unleash a boatload of very expensive figures and vehicles next year. Impulse collecting for many of us is OVER!

No doubt. Even being selective it will still add up. Robocop is confirmed, 89' Bats and Joker are out in March, Dark Knight Rises is out this year so the figs should release before July. I have a feeling we'll also see a few more T1/T2 figures and possibly this year too. That's an assload right there, you'd have to be a BIG fan to pick this (Red Skull) up imo.

Preordering HT is pointless now. As much as I distrust GoHastings, if you can wait they usually have deals on all new HT at discounted prices.

Wow.... Between Black Spidey and this HT finally drew a line in the sand that I'm just not willing to cross. Sure, I'm down to pick up a few must haves here and there but that's it... 200 bones for a figure that would have cost 150 a year ago? No thanks.

Hell, HT have announced lines almost a year in-advance and haven't shown any product.
I like the fact that HT has grown. It means they have some reputation going in when it's time to negotiate for a license. Same thing with SS.
However, their rapidly increasing prices are really putting me off. And I don't buy everything HT puts out. Again, this appears to be a good thing. Like a drug addict I'm being weened off HT by HT.

Yeah, maybe it's time to enforce some collecting rules. I know a lot of you guys have them. I think I will only stick with Marvel and heroes for now. With the exception of some Terminator figures (and Back to the Future and Matrix if they were ever to make them).

This is a $200 PO?! Thats ridiculous. I never complain about there prices because most of the time the accessories are worth the cost but with the little amount of extras this guy comes with 200 aint worth it.

Tis a real shame. Was really liking the look of this figure.
