From the side by side pics, if I were an owner if the original who keeps the helmet down all the time, I would saved my money. Folks like me who dîdn't jump inboard wit HT until later is the target audience here. IMO the original has the correct thickness and size. It looks like the armor that stopped all the bullets coming out of the cave. The new one has a lot of body parts showing.

The head looks lower into the armour on the original whereas the new one it's higher from the shoulder.

So this with the MK II: U hologauntlet is sort of like a "build-a-diorama" situation?

They really are turning into hasbro aren't they.

They've been doing that for awhile with the trophy skulls you get with Predator figures.

Mine sold for 350 on feebay. Didn't sell it cause of the upgrade, sold it cause I lost interest in the IM line as Hot Toys have gone too far. This release seems pointless for people who own the original. Hot Toys keep this up and Enterbay could really start to gain popularity.

They've been doing that for awhile with the trophy skulls you get with Predator figures.

I wouldn't really count them personally as the figure can use them itself, this figure can't use the hologram and neither can the one included with the MK 2.

They're done with the strict intention to be used together and with other figures, the skulls aren't

True. I'm still hoping they get around to releasing that huge skull trophy from Predator 2. It would be the one to the far left, on the wall of trophies, which looks like it could be a dragon's head.

Anyway, back on topic...

...I'm really hoping that there's more to this v2.0 release.
If it's at least as tall as the Mk.IV figure, I will be very happy with it.

Never happen. Just read this thread. WAY more people happy about the re-release that not happy.

Plus, enterbay isn't gooing to come in and make a perfect product. Enterbay could be GREAT for HT business. Enterbays product may show how great HT are.

So much for the whole, "two sculpts is why Red Skull is more exoensive than Cap" debate, this is another $10 apparently and comes with just the one HS.

The P2 skulls are intended to go on the same wall though, so they really are meant to go together just like the Iron Man stuff. And I guess the Predator could hold a skull (so he could "use" it), but an Iron Man could also hold the hologram and pretend it is coming out of his hand or something. In both cases, these are essentially props that fit together on the screen and don't make as much sense just sitting around on the floor next to the figure.

BTW, the regular is $200 on BBTS.
