I will get this and don´t really care how much will cost.

Also, will get another WWII version, so I display a TFA version with helmet, a TFA version with the Evans head and shooting the machine gun and the avengers-helmet version.

all the recent price increases were justified by supply and demand but breaking the $200 mark on a basic figure is too far! i thought '89 Batman and Joker were priced way too high but they look like bargains compared to this thing! So its about $45 more than last years release because of the extra head sculpt? wow! This should have been the same as Red Skull at $199.

I have yet to order Hawkeye and probably will pass on this as well, I think we can all get them at bigger discounts a few months after release. Hot Toys realizes that vendors are still sitting on the original CA, right? So they couldn't sell out of the old one at $170 retail so they bring a new one at $215 retail???

I bet Hulk will be the same as Iron Monger, so ~$450

I also just realized that this is only like $5 cheaper than the new Predator figure!

Yeah I'm afraid what the new TDKR figures are gonna be but this price level is insane---- I may end up paying it but other "fringe" HT releases will be easy pass.

Why was capt. v1 $160ish and now $215?

I'm sure there are plenty of reasons for them to give but come on... They need to watch this uping the price trend. Iron man is one thing with the complexity of the figures but this is a little insane.

Hulk will be $300-$400 easy and I'm sure TDKR will follow suit.

Beautiful figure! Bit disappointed that the head sculpt will look a tad... intense when poped on a body in street clothes, but beautiful.

$215 hurts but I like this figure enough to get it. Went the Flex route to buffer it out a bit.

you know, Hot toys is a monopoly in the 1/6 market...to be honest, EB cannot get as many licenses as HT do, and with something as big as the avengers, they can price figures at 299 and still have people buying it.

I expected at least 200 but 215 damn. With that said i have it preordered looks to damn good and I have the others preordered so far.

Well I was on the fence but at that price I'm out. I would rather put it towards some older figures and PF's that I missed out on.
I just don't feel like a head sculpt a new shield and a costume I really don't like is worth the price.

I mean compare this figure to some of the Predators (Which I don't collect) and its like WTF are we paying for?
