Have you given any thought to the mouth yet? Going to get all fancy cat and try to sculpt the bottom as well?
I bought a full head to mod. It was only like 10 more than the faceplates were going for. Seemed like a good deal to get the whole mellon head.
Very optimistic from your pictures this can be fixed and look good. So very happy with what I am seeing from you.
Where did you pick up the entire helmet? I can only find the faceplate on Ebay.I bought a full head to mod. It was only like 10 more than the faceplates were going for. Seemed like a good deal to get the whole mellon head.

Bravo Cyber! Funny how a bit of Epoxy putty can fix such a problem yet Hot Toys gives the faceplate the green light to go into production without doing anything.Alright, here it is almost done. I am going to do a final fine sanding, and then a clear coat.

Thanks for the props everyone. I am pretty happy with it. Just one last refinement, and then I can just stress out waiting for my Mark7 to get here to try it on.
I tested primers and decided no primer was the way to go. Primers tended to give the gold a bronze tone. It wasnt bad, but I just liked it better straight gold over the red plastic. I noticed when I sanded the stock piece when I 1st started that HT didnt use primer.
I still have to do the lens mod and some black outline small detail stuff.
So nice. If pressed to guess what percent would you say was added to the stock eyes? It looks like you added at least 25% or more. Maybe 1/3rd?
Did such a good job I cannot even remotely see any old lines.
How did you get the lens out?
