Looks great, except for the RDJ headsculpt which is awful IMO. The proto was a lot better, and the eyes on the mask are too big, much too big.
The detailing is great on the suit though.

Yeah great looking Iron Man suit, but the sculpt looks like somebody pretending to be RDJ. I think the main problem is the eyes get that wrong and it messes up everything else. It's funny how Play Imaginative nailed it on their first attempt but Hot Toys have not get there yet.

to be fair that isn't a full head sculpt....just a half Robocop like sculpt....their best TS so far is the Mark IV imo but the Iron Man 3 looks very promising.

Not the most reliable face-off I guess as the RDJ pic is not from the particular scene where he donned Mark 1, but here's a quick photoshop I did, attached.

Curious though, how do we define trolling on here? I myself think that PI's first effort is better than any of HT's RDJ attempts, considering that it's their Nth time to sculpt it.

HT could have used a dumbbell neck peg like TT... instead of a single post/ball.. missed opportunity...

Yeah I was not attempting to Troll, and why would I when I collect these figures and have nothing to gain from Trolling. I also think previous efforts of Robert Downey Jr have been pretty close to getting his likeness, and better than this effort, but IMO there has always been something that has thrown the likeness off a little. I would expect more from a company who basically has Iron Man as their flagship licence.

I kind of agree with you Dino, there's something slightly off...I think it's the eyes. Having said that, it is by far the best RDJ head sculp yet in my opinion..

Will we have the pleasure of a review for the Mark VII???

Best Iron Man figure to date, Tony sculpt is lacking and not RDJ from a lot of angles but looks like a Tony Stark sculpt so will do. The armor is great overall but not perfect, still glad i got it and can't wait to receive mine
