Excuse the noob question but is this the same sculpt as the regular MK VI? I never was that interested in that armor so I didn’t go into that thread much. SS spec pics have it blurred out

IRON MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can't wait.

:clap

Man, they need to release that Chitauri foot soldier figure ASAP! It will go great with this!

:yess:

Are you guys really bringing up religion and sexual preference in this thread? GTFO, seriously!

Same thread people are posting pictures of girlfriends and such. All internet threads get derailed from time to time....for the record...I do not see a debate at all. Now , please go to just about every single thread on this forum and tell people to GTFO for getting off subject. I assure you, ever single popular thread has something that does not pertain to the subject matter....

You people crack me up......you should never decide to read the comments section of any youtube video. You will see the exact same thing, regardless of the subject matter.

IDK about others but I was being sarcastic :D. I see nothing wrong with veering from the topic for a few pages once in a while to break up the monotony. Not the end of the world

What we need is a god of Articulated Plastic.

Those of us who play (not pray) hard enough, they will be rewarded with unblemished and many totally MIB figures in the afterlife!

As far as whether or not Sideshow screwed the pooch on how they handled this PO, I agree that they should of stated up front that this was only for US customers assuming they knew ahead of time. That's just dishonest to our international boardies who wanted this figure and were counting on Sideshow to buy it from.

As far as being dishonest to US buyers, I think that is a load of crap. Anybody keeping tabs on things would have realized that the movie was releasing in many over seas markets this past Friday and since Hot Toys said it was going up for preorder during the Iron Man 3 launch period, there was at least a 50/50 chance it would go up this past Friday and it did.

Sideshow also said that it would be a highly limited figure so in my view it is up the the collector to make sure they are able and ready to place their PO when it goes up. I didn't get the email either, another aspect that Sideshow should have handled better, but I had the wits about me to watch this thread like a hawk and it paid off because a couple of fellow boardies posted the link as soon as it went up. Thanks again guys. If you were not in a position to get your order in when it went up and you live in the US, then the fault lays with you and not Sideshow because you weren't engaged enough to recognize when this piece might PO and use the available resources to make sure you got your order in if you wanted it.

I ordered mine fine using a friends US address!
It also saves on inevitable £40-£50 extra on import fees! ;)

...I just hope and pray to our new deity... Figerateus my waitlist will convert.

sorry about the same sex comment. i shouldn't have even mentioned it but it was based on comments to a customer i heard about a few years back. i don't even know if it was true but this girl was upset with one of the owners about something she overheard at sdcc at the ss booth. that always stuck in my mind.

i don't think ss is all that bad a company. they have a great rewards system and many collectibles choices. after reading the replies in this thread, i'm convinced that they can't please everyone all of the time so i'll take the disappointment as part of what i don't like about the hobby.

While I whole-heartedly agree with you, if handled any differently, people wouldn't have anything to complain about.

I actually received the email, had him in my cart and didn't pull the trigger. I figured he'd be available for a couple days at least. So shame on me but I just don't see how SS could have handled this any better, aside from those signed up for the alert actually receiving it.

I am glad you secured an order but unfortunately only a small percentage of international customers are able to do that. The rest are pretty much out of luck.

You know, people have to realize that some are disappointed and will complain. I'm dissappointed as well. What WE don't need is people who got it telling us that well......tough **** for you, especially when ones who get it have to come on the board and say.......Oh I got two, or three or five. Or, well, I didn't really want it, I'm going to flip or trade it. Just keep that too yourself. No need to brag about it and fuel the fire.

Some of us can't sit by the computer all day waiting for a pre-sale. In the old days there was a set time for it, or it would happen when the newsletter launched. Now, it can be anytime. Some of us have more to do in our lives.

So please......save us the too bad for you speeches.

Thank you. :lol

I do read it and that's why I'm not surprised this was heading that direction. You can't go watch a single YouTube video without seeing two idiots argue about something completely off topic of what the original subject matter is.

Anyways I do agree that a chitauri figure would go along nicely with this.

Or Hulk + This base + Chitauri figure

Best of luck to those who got screwed out at the end of the day. I do hope HT releases this figure for international buyers some time.

I thought putting this up at 6pm eastern time on Friday was a pretty crappy move by Sideshow. When have they ever posted something on a Friday so late in the day?
