I'm not a dude for one thing. And I won't bother responding to your useless drivel.

blah blah blah. People who got in an order will get one and you ZERO, NADDA, ZILCH, CERO, NULL! At the end of the day, you get nothing because you valued your time elsewhere. Now complain some more on how you are entitled to one when everyone else did what they were suppose to do: put in a order when the item goes up for sale.

Who are you to tell me what I should and shouldn't be happy about buying? Seriously tone down your self righteous holier than thou attitude

No one gives a crap about half the stuff you constantly moan about not being able to buy but it doesn't stop you spouting the same old **** thread after thread

Well anyone that really needs this, just buy a normal version and have it painted like this..

:goodpost:

Everyone knew this would be very limited. You missed it? That sucks. Such a horrible shame that there isn't a regular one or lots of others to get instead.

Oh wait.

Robbie..thanks..you are trying to keep us on topic.

The funny thing to me is that I sat and debated a long time, at least to me a long time about whether or not to place an order. In the end, I figured if I didn't like it, I was sure I could always sell it. But the more I look at it the more I know I'm going to keep it. I ordered the Avenger version because frankly I need the Mark 7 to keep my Irons going. But this one has me really excited.

To me this is the best iron man version to date. The head to toe battle damage is just so appealing. The mark vi BD while striking, falls short for me compared to this. I can't wait to see how the paint application looks in person.

It could be the first almost matte look that all of the previous armors should have had instead of the overly glossed look.

So are we thinking that there are good odds of getting this if you are on the WL? Or is the WL just a pacifier?

But I thought you said the BD was not something a regular guy can do, takes a certain amount of skills :lol

I wonder why Hot Toys disclosed the amount Hong Kong and Singapore were receiving of this figure, but not in the US?:dunno

Also, I'm fairly new to collecting, but are there any official hot toys distributor websites in Europe? And if so, could they possibly receive some to accommodate those unable to purchase through Sideshow?

This figure seemed more limited than the Mark VI Promo Edition.

Because they have to line up to grab the figure where as in the states it's an online sort of thing. I think it's publicity. Having thousands of people line up in HK and singapore for a figure is major publicity for Hot toys, and it worked. No one is gonna care of a website in the US offers X amount of figures for order...that's typical.

Given how fast it sold out, if the edition size was released it may have caused a server issue and brought their order systems down.(not saying it was 1,000)

If people found out the edition size was only 1,000 for instance there would have been many more people hawking the website to get the piece.

I'm curious if they decided not to disclose the US allotment because it's subject to change based on WL numbers?

With this figure coming out in July, I think whatever is in production numbers now is about it. If sideshow can acquire additional figures between now and then I am sure they will try to.

But I would not think the volume of wait list would increase the final numbers they receive.

I'm wondering if there will be texture or it's just surface apps like paint and decals. Texture would REALLY warrant the price hike

I've been pumped about this from the first day it was posted on FB and the HT site. I didn't realize at first it was going to be a limited release so I was on SS every other day looking for PO. It finally clicked a few days ago how they were offering this. I'm just glad I was keeping up with it and didn't miss out

I really think there is a good chance that there will be conversions within the next couple of weeks and this is real deal, not just a pacifier. They aren't open on the weekend so wait list and "checking inventory" statuses don't change till the business days. I hope a lot of people who want this for their collection get in when the conversions start and not any more opportunists.

What happened? this thread was a little calm the other day but sadly full of so called wife photos.

I was the same way...I sat there..looking at photos..had it in my cart...almost deleted it out...then I figured I know I could always get my money back if I didnt like it..no risk there..but if I didnt order I knew chances were I would regret it..so I pulled the trigger with like 30 left. Now I am happy I did, I think it looks awesome.

I think the NRD will hamper this a bit...the aftermarket value will even more. I dont think chances are good for many to convert if any to be honest..you may get a couple when payment time comes and some people cant pay for it..but I wouldnt expect more than a handful.
