lol, you know I've been in this thread all weekend, maybe even friday night. But with all that going on, I wasnt getting that he actually went up for order until this afternoon.

I've snoozed and lost before, thats on me. But this is a little different after all the other emails i've gotten from them for products i'm not even interested in. I wait listed anyway, and will just get the standard if it doesnt work out. I'm disappointed somewhat I have to admit.

Well, I missed the pre-order by minutes (didn't get home from work until 9:30 Friday evening), but I got on the Waitlist in hopes that it'll convert (missed that opening by an hour or so, though).

I see a bunch of these are already up for pre-sell on ebay; isn't that against their policy? I thought the seller had to be able to supply the item within 30 days of auction close. If that's the case, good luck to any scalpers trying to sell one before June.

Paypal won't cover it after 30 days. So if they pay and never receive it, they're out of luck. That's why I never get anything from HK on eBay because it may take months to get it.

Considering this is the 3rd Avengers Iron Man, I wonder what the packing will look like? Hopefully, in accord with the others. Also. I'm excited to see the paint apps in hand. They look great in the pics

I received my email in the middle of the Lincoln Tunnel during rush hour with 1 bar reception on my phone...how I was able to order one is beyond me....my phone just doesn't work near the Port Authority or tunnel...I consider myself lucky...my cousin missed out cuz he never received the email...I texted him when I got better signal outside tunnel but he got it too late and when he clicked link it was on WAIT LIST

It went up for sale friday april 26 at 3:00 pst..i got the email at 3:02 and had mu my order in by 3:14

I got my email on 3:04pm while driving and my cell phone ringed. I opened it up while driving, pulled over at the next exit, parked in the gas station, and started the process. My fingers were trembling trying to do everything right. I shortly got an email confirmation from Sideshow as 3:09pm. I wish I would have done this kind of cell phone method when I first started collecting and kept on losing out on EX stuff. This is now the best method in my opinion even though I put myself in danger because I happen to be driving while the PO went up and just had to get it in now!

Yeah, I'm aware of the PayPal situation. But pre-selling an item that's due for release longer than 30 days past the auction close is a violation of ebay policy:

If you want to sell presale items, be sure to meet all of the following criteria:
Guarantee that the item will be available for shipping within 30 days from the purchase date. Be sure to clearly state this information in your listing.
Clearly indicate in the listing that the item is a presale item.
The handling time specified in your listing should reflect the time from the end of the listing until the item is shipped to the buyer—not the time the item is in your possession. Be sure to specify the correct handling time in your listing.
In the listing form, you need to use the default font size of 3 so people can easily see these sale terms.



I realize that such auctions are listed all the time, but technically, if one were to report these auctions, ebay would in theory remove them for policy violation.

I just said that the BD figure feels truer to the film than the clean version and you assume I didn't get an order in because...?

No I don't think that is what I said. I said that the increase in price is probably the result of having this extra paint.

Besides I wasn't trying to insinuate that the person painting a clean version was unskilled. There are plenty on this board that Im sure would repaint your armor for a fee.

You taking the time to number all of the inconsistencies with the look in the film compared to the actual figure.
