Ordered. Wanted to wait for a local offer but Shadowtrooper didn't make it locally or at insanely inflated price. Even with import and shipping fees, Sideshow direct remains my best option.

My gut tells me these will be in short supply.

It's definitely a novelty figure. But it can serve as my 2nd stormtrooper as easily as the shortie from the two-pack could.

I love how there's often no rhyme or reason to what Imperial personnel does in SW. Why are there Stormtroopers running frantically through the Death Star anti-aircraft towers while the guns are going off, trying not to trip over hoses? How are they helping? And why when the rebels were supposedly "routed and fleeing into the woods" did a battalion of pencil pushing desk officers run out into the bush to pursue them? Did they all even have sidearms?

Imperial Officer #1: "Get 'em? That was your plan Ray? 'Get 'em?'"

Imperial Officer #2: "I'm sorry, I heard that they were being routed and I just got carried away."

I'm glad to see HT making unusual variants like this, it bodes well for the line going forward! I dunno if I'll get this one though, despite my instantly buying the Shadowtrooper.

Yup, I ordered this as well. I had a PO for Shadow Trooper and cancelled. I like the white colour better, and yup now I have to order a regular tall trooper as well

I can understand people saying "my budget is tapped out, I'm just going to have to stick with the classic Stormtroopers" or whatever. But being surprised that HT made badass looking troopers that were actually in the movie or thinking that that's lame? Crazy.

Everytime someone complains, Howard schedules another Iron Man armor.. just saying.

Excellent figure, good choice for an Exclusive, definitely in for this one.
However this figure may cannibalise a percentage of HT's Stormtrooper Twin Pack sales.. I'm ditching my pre-order for that, to order this instead.. it provides more variety to the collection.

Since I can't order two I'm thinking I'll keep my regular two-pack and display the badass Spacetrooper flanked by shorty and tally. Three classic ANH troopers, all shined up in Death Star gloss, yet all different.

I had the Twin pack and a single figure on pre-order, I'm keeping the single.. with the current price of HT figures, tough choices have to be made.

Why do you need to cancel anything shipping right now on account of the Spacetrooper? He won't ship till late 2015, possibly 2016. A lot can happen between now and then.

There are a lot of figures I want to add to the collection over the next year or so, and realistically on display space alone, something has to give.. I realised that its extremely likely I would end up selling the Stormtrooper Twin pack, so it makes more sense to pass on that before purchase.

I will have this, the single HT Stromtrooper, Sideshow's Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike.. possibly Sideshow's Tie Fighter pilot..plus my existing collection of Sideshow Star Wars figures, none of which I'm in any hurry to part with.. not to mention pre-orders from the license that must not be named.. plus possible SDCC announcements yet to come.. too much awesome!

I hear you. Sometimes I don't "have to" let something go but sometimes I just look for an excuse to because life is just simpler the less crap you have on the way.

I know issues with toy spacemen is first world silliness at its highest but still...really Sideshow? REALLY? How many pics on the official product page are you going to post of these guys as a pair (just like they were in the movie) and then you only let us buy one? Come on!
