As much as I want this figure, I decided to get more stormtroopers instead, oh well.

This figure essentially is a Storm Trooper though just with an added backpack and different weapons. Personally I like having a couple different types for variety.

I'm still glad I ordered this, as I don't have a stormtrooper yet. I felt that buying this guy will fill the trooper void in my collection. But you know, the more research I do (and by research I mean going over to RPF and seeing the behind the scene shots from ANH and the deconstruction of the original prop sources)
the more it looks like HT completely abandoned the original elements and went there own way... It looks cool, but far from accurate by any stretch... well they may have gotten part of the hose on model Still, I'm lookin forward to it though...

Yep now in total I have 4 standard storm troopers to go with my vader. As much how good this figure looks, I'd rather have more stormtroopers.

To me this is just a Stormie with extras...so why not? I'll probably pick up a reg soon with a coupon like you said EXOTICLEX.

To me the thought of canceling came when the Sandtrooper was immediately announced. Same thing happened with the shadow trooper. Was gonna check it out before the stormtroopers were released (in August),and then suddenly the regular stormtroopers were moved up to March/April.
This is a slightly different case since the space troopers are actually in the movie though. Keeping it for now. Don't know if I'll bother to reorder with a coupon though cause then I'm fully committed with the NRD. Most of me wants to just keep whatever parts are new and part out the rest, but I'm a little OCD about having things complete with the original boxes, etc. so I'll likely keep the figure intact.

Thanks, guys. Cancelled my original and ordered again w/code and NRD. Kinda nice having $42.00 paid right off the hop. I'm a 'don't order unless you're willing to lose the NRD' buyer and sometimes that backfires (will be cancelling my two regular Stormtroopers, so will lose $40 there -- just don't need six of these between the two-pack, two regular troopers and two Space), but generally I'm pretty confident before ordering, so don't mind.

Ordered this guy on april 15th but can't remember if NRD was active then. Can't find any détails on my order that stipulâtes if i paid NRD or not. Anyone know when Sideshow added NRD on the Spacetrooper?

Nevermind. Cancellation process does tell you what orders have NRD and eventual payment plans associated. Cancelled and reordered with DINO2015.
