I'd still rather not even see any photos of episode 8. I really hate the spoiler generation brought on by the internet

Quick question... how do you post with the spoiler button. Cant find the option

Use these tags (without all the spaces):

[ S P O I L E R ]
[ /S P O I L E R ]

Or use the advanced entry window, there's button for spoilers in the menu that adds the tags for you.

You have to type out a spoiler tag so (SPOILER) Luke is Han's brother (/SPOILER), but with brackets instead of parantheses.

Really, he is...

Annoying thing is tapatalk, if you have the preview newest message setting turned on, it will still show the content of a spoiler tag in that "preview" view, like if you're browsing the Star Wars section. I know people saw Han's death last year before the movie came out.

This is the first time I've realized there's a difference between brackets and parentheses. I actually never knew that.:horror:lol

At D23 and again yesterday on the Disney Lot here in Burbank they played the Behind the Scenes for TLJ. I am like you and do not really want to see anything about the film until it comes out but ended up watching it.. it is pretty awesome. I don't think it gives much away really but there are some really cool practical aliens and fauna in the new one that is for sure. Laura Dern looked really great too.

The cast on hand said that the script is "really surprising but correct" and that "some people will be really shocked" with what happens. Got me pretty excited.. only a few more months to go.

Hah... Really??!! hehe thanks TonTon... Thanks TaliBane :lol

I've actually gotten out of the habit of watching trailers for films. I'll watch the teaser and that's it. Civil War made me change the way I go about that...they just give away WAY too much in the trailers now. I was so annoyed when they showed Spider-Man in the trailer; that would have been such an amazing moment to be sitting in the theatre, and all of a sudden Tony Stark is at Peter Parker's house. Instead, everyone knew about it going into the movie.

The internet is even worse though. I didn't want to know much going into TFA and stayed off all the boards and sites to avoid the jerks that like spoiling things. The night before the movie came out, I was on Facebook and clicked the comments on a post on the NHL Facebook page. I was curious was people had to say about the headline since I'm a big hockey fan. Like 4-5 comments in, "Han Solo died in The Force Awakens". I was livid. Same thing happened to me with The Walking Dead, I forget what page I was on that time, but someone put "Negan kills Glenn and Abraham".

The more stuff like that happens, along with the constant political infighting between people, the more I want to just get off social media all together. Ruins way too much.

But yeah, the point is, spoilers are rampant these days, so I don't blame people for getting upset about them.

I'm far from being ok with spoilers as well, but for me I don't mind seeing things that have already been in a trailer. Main trailers and those behind-the-scenes videos though, no international trailers for me. So seeing the promo pictures of the actors in costume like the ones that just came out this week is alright.

Plot points that we don't already know about from a trailer or brief movie synopsis is a no no for me.

[SPOILER/]It's actually going to be revealed in TLJ that Rey is actually the older sister of Luke and Leia, the first born child of Anakin Skywalker and Padme. However, she was cryogenically frozen when born because they saw how high of a Midichlorian count she had and was going to be the next "chosen one", so they wanted to save her for a time when she'd really be needed. After being unfrozen, she was abandoned on Jakku.

This is why HT teased an Anakin figure, because he's slated to make a cameo in TLJ in a flashback scene showing when Rey was born.
Did I do the spoiler tag right?

Man why would you spoil the movie like that for everyone? That's totally true I had that same insider info from my friend at Lucasfilm.

Yeah, they released some great new non-spoiler pics. This one I love too...:lol

Just ordered this guy from PC for the the equivalent of $215US delivered (delivered from SS to AU would be at least $270US) which is about a $70AUD saving. Mid 2018 is a long wait.

Dear god you ordered from premium collectables?!? Haven't you read all the bad feedback about them?!
