Just got my Ex and I gotta tell ya, I am blown Away with the engineering and detail of this thing. Just took an initial inspection but NO pics can do this figure justice when you have it in hand. It's a stunner, gorgeous paint that changes looks in different light...

I don't know what more one can ask for a great Miniature Museum Quality Representation of the IM1 Movie Character.

This will be THE ONE I think. It is ridiculously versatile and I always loved the Golmera, Jet Flight and Final Battle scenes the best and you can do all that with this. The base rocks too.

What a Sick piece of work this is. Can't even imagine anyone doing something like this three years ago. Oh, and the crushed helmet has it's own slot and it isn't cheap looking, it feels like the normal helmet. Maybe they upgraded it.

I love the figure in terms of appearance and ability to pose it tops the original figure without question. I am concerned with the apparent fragile nature of the piece. I haven't spent alot of time working with it but parts of it seem a little "flimsy".

I know its the wrong thread but the original seems to be buried . Anyhow I just got my Mark III today from a fellow Freaks Board Member and I must say its a very impressive figure and I can see why SS chose to collaborate with Hot Toys on the SW armord figures.

This is a very well done figure from the paint , the various armor details, articulation , the light up features and the Downey Jr headsculpt this figure is truley a home run. This is my 4th Hot Toys purchase with the others being Hellboy, Dark Knight Batman Ver 1 and
the Joker Ver 1 and I'm extremly happy with all 4! They are pricey but unlike Medicom you do get your moneys worth !

This is probably last Hot Toys purchase with the annaual SS SW summer /fall bombardment begining but I woud purchase a Christopher Reeve Superman which is probaly going to be more sooner than later.

Finally broke down and bought this today. In the process of selling off the original Mark III. Got a pretty good deal on the BD so I should break even seeing what the prices are going for even just for the original....:clap :banana

It's such a cool piece. Wait till you see the paint apps in hand. :D

Hey Guys, I just got mine, where is the light switch for the hands and chest arc reactor? Is it that same little switch behind the neck or is there another one in the back?

Did you not read the instructions? ..the hand switches are underneath the upper arms and the chest switch is under one of the upper air break flaps.

Here's Mine. Couldn't be happier...

This is a great figure and im going to sound like a complete novice as im new to the figure world but how does the stand connect to the bottom display section??

Il have to get it out of the box and have a look. So do u just get the stand and the base? - no other part? - and that pushes into the base?

Ps salt and pepper?
