I have Chris bought and paid for...I admit Platoon was a favorite of mine growing up...I love it. Oliver Stone's commentary on the dvd is also fantastic.

The likenesses so far on these are simply amazing, even by HT's standards...that bar is pretty high.

Can't skip Taylor. The movie was about him! For me it's Taylor, Barnes, and Elias. Hopefully we get Elias next before Depp or Dillon or whoever they are making.

This line is so, so exciting for me. I only wish my father could be alive to see these figures. He'd truly love them.

He's the "main character," but I wouldn't say the film is about him. He's the observer/reporter/story teller.

I wish I could have enjoyed these movies more. But at the time movies like Platoon, Full Metal Jacket and Hamburger Hill just brought a proliferance of anti-Asian taunts in the schoolyard.

I might grab the DVDs again so I can properly enjoy these movies. Have to be careful that a $5 DVD hire doesn't turn into a $130 figure purchase

I like that. Those two make the most sense for sure if you are just picking up two. If it's just one though, it has to be Taylor
