For me Hot Toys means "Iconic" characters I would spend a couple hundred dollars on. There are many people that say "Please make a Reese, Hudson, Hicks etc".
For their sake I hope they do, but I do not dream of dropping $200 - $300 on characters like that. These are the characters I would buy from NECA.

Never dreamed or cared to own Murphy so I do not see savings. I cared to own "unmasked" Robocop only.

Without Alex Murphy, there would be no Robocop, let alone Battle Damaged Robo.

When you look at the face of your BD Robocop, remember where that mug came from. As for icons, you have frickin' Barney in your collection! How dare you treat Murphy, Reese and Hudson like that.

Barney would not be in my collection for $220. Never would consider. I purchased him for $100 (I got a deal). For $100 please bring on Hudsen, Hicks, Reese, Murphy etc.....

Barney really is my Stallone / Rocky representation in my collection. When friends/family come by they do say "Oh cool Stallone". Followed by "Who's Barney Ross"!!

I don't think those were even 100.00 when they released the ****** V.1 sculpts (Hicks, Hudsen,Future Reese) You are delusional on prices, you will never find new figures that cheap unless someone is really desperate. Maybe you've been buying to many Neca's and this hobby isn't for you. I had no problem making the decision of pre ordering the BD Robo plus murphy, over Han and Chewie, cause Han looks like crap. I'm also a bigger fan of BTTF but Robo is second as my fav. 80's movies, tied with ESB.

I love Expendables cause its fun, like Planet Terror is but yeah I don't think I would put it up there with the original Robocop, I still love the Expendables enough to buy that Ross on sale, and to kitbash a church, but they are prob. the first to go if I need to sell figures, Robo is going to be taken from my dead hands.

Oh its true you never going to get those figures for $100 (even the V.1). My point is "I" will not spend $220+ on these characters. I do wish they make them for those who have them on their wish list. But they are not characters for me to spend two plus bills on.

with the exception of Chewie I agree with those, cause Chewie ain't anything without Han, but the Chewie sculpt is really good. And I don't know about Batman since I don't trust their rubber suits, but if it comes with a Keaton head, I might get persuaded, but I'm a bigger Nolan batman fan honestly.

There is a big "*" beside this list. If Returns Batman comes in expensive then Ripley will be removed from my list. Guys do me a favour go to Hot Toys Facebook page and asked them to throw in a battle damages HELMET ACCESSORY for the BD Robocop. Just feels like he is missing this

It'd be nice, but I doubt HT would do this. Though I can see some guys buying the BD helmet separately and removing the "skin" tab with eye from inside and displaying it with the BD Robo.

Pre order cancelled didn't bother looking cause BudgetStark's video was enough for me, but this just confirms that, the proto looks amazing.

Is his head poseable or is it stuck in 1 place can't really tell on the BD robo
