Vader has always seemed so huge and larger than life in the movies that it doesn't really bother me if the figure is a bit oversized, or dwarfs all my other figures. At least as long as he looks right proportionally (unlike, say, the first 15" tall SS Vader that had ridiculously long legs).

And plus HT has already made Kylo Ren way oversized, so we at least have to make sure Vader is still taller than him.

While that last part is true, I feel like they made Vader's helmet maybe a tad too large and Kylo's a tad too small. The scale on lots of these figures are off one small way or the other. Just need to pose them with a figure that's close enough.

Some people focus so much on height, but adjustments solely there can make other things look off as well. Like Rey, it's not just her height, but her width as well that looks too small, she's a 1/6.25 scale figure (maybe everything outside the noggin).

For what it's worth, when you compare, say the EFx Darth Vader helmet to the Anovos KylomRen one, there's a big difference in size as well. Hell, even a Stormtrooper helmet dwarves Ren's so I think their figures are pretty accurate. Next to each other at least.

That and the Kylo Ren helmet is completely flat in the front and has only slight flair on the sides. It's going to seem pretty small compared to a Vader helmet.

Of course it's supposed to be smaller, but the point is it's smaller in the sense that it's underscaled as well. Can't put too much faith in the company that put out Rey and Finn, clearly not great when it comes to scale.

The Ren helmet is basically the same size as the Kenobi head sculpt.

I meant the Maul head. To me the heads on Maul, Death Trooper, and Ren (him to a lesser degree) are all a bit underscaled, they all look great together from what I've seen.

I'm sure this get asked here a gazillion times by now, but is there anyone that knows or a site that explains the differences from the ESB vader to the ROTJ one?

With the ANH and R1 figures out the reviews on youtube makes that an easy endeavour but can't seem to find much on ESB vs ROTJ look save movie screenshots and alot there comes down to how the set was light, I don't think they used the same costume when shooting the movies.

There's not much of a difference between them really. Basically just a slightly different chest box and lightsaber.

For what it's worth I just asked a Sideshow Rep if Vader going to waitlist was permanent and she said yes. The only way it'll go back to preorder is if HT gives them more stock.

Pretty hard to believe that HT made that few of him, especially when Kylo Ren is still up.

They probably made too many for TFA and decided to make less for RO but ended up making a lot less than they should have.
