Man, what a beautiful Vader! The only thing I dont dig is the pleated tunic, other than that this thing is looking sick. Jeez I wish they did the gloves like on the ANH version. Those are gonna go super quick when this gets parted out eventually.

Usually the first defense mechanism for someone when an assertion or statement of theirs gets refuted; that YOU'RE taking the matter too seriously. As if you were just supposed to take what they said at face value and not question it.

I dont dig the pleated tunic.

Couldn't agree more. However, I don't hold that against HT/the figure itself though. It's supposed to be modeled after Vader's look in R1, so I'm guessing it looks like that for at least the majority of the film.

I've also been told they're not pleats, but sections that are stitched together, or something like that. I initially thought they were pleats also.

Thank you. Are the helmets the same size ? The done of the helmet on the Rogue One Vader seems longer? A significant difference in height body wise.

Doesn't look too bad, more of an ESB vibe about it but definately display worthy. The chest box appears to be much bigger on the R1 figure.

Great comp pics.

Really interesting to see how much new stuff there is on this Vader.

But the RO version is taller? The ANH one was a bit too tall, so this one is more so.

And yeah, looks like the chestbox is an all new (and bigger - the ANH version chestbox is slightly too small) sculpt. Looks more accurate than the ANH version.

Even the belt buckle (seems smaller on RO Vader vs. ANH) and chest armor seem to be all-new sculpts.

I still think the new gloved hands look a touch too small (maybe because this Vader is so tall,) but what a huge improvement in overall look!

Certainly looks a bit taller, which is odd because the height specs on the website are the same for both. Pleats don't look so bad, I think the flash accentuates them more.

Have you confirmed the robe can be placed over armor?

The gloves are better and Helmet looks to fit better on his head, red eyes guys!

No sound effects, but like that really worked well in the first place as a concept

IDK the difference in size makes this version a unique one of a kind figure

If RO is indeed a one shot film. Then this is a gem unless Vader is in any of the other upcoming films like Han Solo

To think all that modding most people did on their ANH versions which I'm sure was still great, but man if they just waited for this a little more.
