Was it easy to swap out the cod piece to the ANH? I bought one off ebay a few weeks ago for 11 bucks...dont like that R1 cod

Yes very easy its just Velcro on the straps

No harm in trying but I had a look see at getting the armour off and it seemed it may be glued down and as I do have the 1st Vader I was not going to risk it

First, this Vader really does look gorgeous and is definitely an improvement in many ways.

I'm a bit shocked that he's taller! I mean, the ANH Vader was too tall... now this looks to be Sideshow height.

So from what I can gather from these pictures, in regards to an ANH conversion from RO:

IMPROVEMENTS:
-shin guards
-gloves
-helmet paint -- depending on your preference
-tunic
-shoulder bells - correct color (even though you'll never see them)
-weathering on boxes

CONS:
-height
-chest box - strangely oversized while the buttons and slots remain the same size and are now too spread out
-belt 'buckle' - dial painted black not silver
-super-cod

Wow, glued down? And not just sewn on or held with Velcro? That sucks.

Grill no scratches

Nose piece slightly darker and more proportioned

Arms look beefer

Shoulder plates look more crisp

Red eyes

Cape and robes better material
