Didn't really believe they changed it. Too fast between the time HT would have been allowed "RO Vader material" and the time this toy was revealed.

"New sculpt" in HT lingo often means 'new paint apps'. Or, like NBC used to say, if you don't have it, "its new to you".

I have a soft spot for the ANH because it was the 1st time we see Vader and the pose I had him in was from that 1st scene but I'm going to go with R1 just for the shine

I prefer the "dirty" (cheap '77 mask) of the original 'Star Wars', so I'm guessing I'll prefer my silly ol' HT ANH head. Good, one less thing for me to worry over.

Gotta say, overall I prefer the look of the ANH figure (minus the gloves, of course). Not feeling those hockey pad shoulders whatsoever.

Oh yeah, it's accurate to the RO movie. I just meant I'm not feeling the shoulder pads as far as the costume design for this Vader in general, movie and figure. Reminds me too much of ROTS Vader in that way.
