This looks amazing. Not sure what to do yet as I already have the ANH version. Nice upgrades and no sound but no saber or light up saber arm.

Same here. This just looks like a great figure but I already have ANH Vader. I can't afford to buy practically the same figure twice but this looks nicely improved. Hopefully these gloves can peg into the older ones wrists.
And I think Hot Toys just told us Vader won't ignite his saber in Rogue One.

Even if he doesn't ignite the saber in the movie, it seems awfully strange to release a Dark Vader figure without a lightsaber blade anyway. Because you can be sure the Hasbro action figures will all have one.

You can also be sure there will be bootleg light up sabers like the ones coming out for Sideshow's Darth Maul and HT's Rey if this Vader doesn't have a blade.

It would be cool to see Vader use more of the Force than lightsaber in Rogue One.
There are no Jedi in the film. I think we need to see more of Vader's Force abilities against the Rebels.

Nice figure, but I just want those gloves.

I like the figure cosmetically, the shine to the figure makes it look really sharp. Not sure what's up with the diaper on the figure though. Maybe Anakin Skywalker has a diaper fetish we're going to find out about? #StarWarsAfterDark

It would be great if we see some of the powers he used in the Force Unleashed. Like picking up and throwing a guy with the force or using the Lightsaber as a boomerang to stab someone.

To me this doesn't have any character, it's not 'ultimate Vader' it's 'generic Vader and much too ROTS for me. I would like a shiny Vader, but that would have to be an ESB version.

Maybe, but to me this still represents the Vader of the OT better than any other Vader figure we've seen (and certainly more than the skinny and perfectly symmetrical ROTS Vader). Although I agree I would have rather this just been an ESB Vader instead.

Yeah, looking at this one just makes you scream "Bring on the ESB version already!!" I mean what's next for HT - a "Rebels" Vader version?

This looks really decent (and finally they fix the gloves!,) and an improvement on the ANH version that I passed on, but this one to me is neither fish nor fowl - like the ANH version, it doesn't look much like Vader as seen in ANH, but this one also has a "generic Vader"/ROTS feel to it as others have noted.

Not sure what's new about the helmet sculpt too - they got rid of those weird little etched lines but it looks very much the same sculpt as the ANH release, right down to the nose plug. I really hope for the ESB version they do an all-new helmet sculpt.

The look of Vader in RO is a little curious (from what little we've seen) as he really looks quite different to how he looks in ANH which is in the same timeframe. Maybe we see him in battle to explain his more beat-up look for ANH?
