did you move the pic?? am I THAT dum???

- Right click that pic
- & choose "copy link location"
- Then come back here & use the IMG tags

There might be a different/better method, but this way works

got him in a couple days ago and spent yesterday putting him through hell. Sanded the jacket and pants, weathered the shield... just generally dirtied him up. Pretty happy with how he came out...

my stupid FTP is so screwy... if someone can manage to post the pic in the actual posts for me... ugh... annoying....

Slightly different, I transferred your photo to my Photobucket and it was easy-peezy-lemon-squeezey from then on.

Wow, that's awesome. The detail is beautiful. I cringe a little when i look at it thinking 'geeze, your toys are dirty'. But the work is beautiful. I got mine last night and couldn't believe the detail. The helmet is so heavy and has the full infrastructure. I'm really glad I got this. I'm actually surprised it hasn't sold out.

thanks!!! It's such fun distressing these... once you get past the initial 'ohmygod' moment, its a blast throwing paint at them... sanding... beating them up... fun!!!

give it a go!!! I think the dirt on the face REALLY brings the likeness out... I think it's an amazing figure!!

No problem r. I like your photo by the way. I like this Cap:A actually. It's one of those "going to really regret it" choices that I do not have this yet (and the SWAT Jim Gordon) but I just cannot add any more figures at the moment...

I have BIG CHIEF's 11th Doctor to account for within the next few days, and I was already committed, so no Cap:A-Rescue just yet. Unless I win the Euro-lottery massive £100+ million, gazzillion, stupidozillian draw tomorrow night. *

It is still the very best CA sculpt available of Chris Evans so far with, I think at least, better production pieces/home photos than the official reveal ones.

* I do not actually need the whole £145,000,000.00 as I am not greedy. I could easily slide by on the £100,000,000.

Got my Rescue Cap and love it! One question though; is he supposed to be so much taller than the First Avenger Cap? Anyone else notice this? Thanks.

Your FA Cap may have the shorter ankle pegs. I requested the taller ones from Sideshow a while back. Both of mine are around the same height.

Congrats and I suggest you check your first CA's box, there suppose to be an extra set of ankle adapters in there in case you want to make him taller

I noticed this right off the hop too. But I also remembered the peg ordeal when FA Cap was being released. Some batches got them others didnt. I didnt think it was a big deal and just kept the short ones in until I stood Rescue Cap beside FA Cap. Then I was pretty well forced to break out the longer pegs.

Interesting. I noticed it too. It bugs the hell outta me every time I look at them. (They're side-by-side). I'm pretty sure, now that it's mentioned, there were pegs in the box. I'll check it out tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah mine came with the extra set of longer ankle pegs, However I did hear that not everyone's CA came with them for some reason. I never changed the ones that came with the figure but I may cause I noticed the height differants myself once I place them on the shelf together.
