The beauty of inflation and Marvel tax. Probably the most ridiculously overpriced figure put out from them when you really look at what it is.

Ordered none the less.

I am so glad I am more a batman fan. Mark 42,43, and die cast 3 will have to do. Must avoid the exclusive bug.

It's probably higher because movie promo editions are very limited. You're paying a premium for rarity.

Iron Men just make the best hot toys. It's action figure and superhero and reminiscent of super robots so I can my resist.

I kind of feel sorry for iron man completists. There is no end in sight to the figures and most come with a "iron man fans will buy it anyway" tax. This is a very nice looking, overpriced figure.

Agreed! Glad to be a batman fan more and I am a completist.

At the price of this thing I don't see it selling out soon. Within the week maybe. I ordered one. I have the mark 43 on preorder too. After these two and maybe Hulkbuster, I'm done with ironman. The only other exclusive I have is the gun metal grey Mark 3.

LoL, I've started shifting to props/replicas and am trying to ween myself away from 1/6 other than iron man. Just can't let it go for the same reasons you wrote above. Best 1/6 scale product out there for me. Little plastic crack. I am so weak.

Thanks, I guess I meant how it would be applied and what the design pattern looked like. Guess we'll have to wait because I didn't notice it in the promo shots or did I miss something?

It's in every single promo shot.

You can see it here on the thigh and on the forearm rocket area. It's also on the chest and bicep. It's the faint brownish camo design.

You can make it out in bits in the pictures; there's just a bunch of reflection on most of the chest plates. I also just realized that the two plates on the side of the chest look translucent too. And did anyone even catch that the leg flaps are also translucent? This thing's bursting with translucent black plastic!

I'm not a huge Iron Man collector but have to admit this is a tempting variant. I bet in hand it'll be pretty striking. Looks awesome, already, and I'm kind of a sucker for the stealth/two-tone look (big part of the reason I bought MILK War Machine and WM MK II). Think I'll have to equivocate on this long enough for it to go sold out and take the decision out of my hands.

Don't need to change the LED, just hit the cover panel with clear red.
