It's a little hard to be certain just yet.

Based on the picture from the show, there's definitely an elbow joint. Current theory is HT's evolving their use of muscle bodies and have deveolped a new body that usese muscle features wherever possible while still using joints where necessary, so the overall will look better but posability won't be totally lost.

I think it's just a solid plastic body with the pieces sculpted to shape muscles rather than part rubber muscles and part normal plastic, but we won't know for sure until official images surface or sharp photos of the image at the con display show up.

That's what I think as well. I'm sure this will be shown at SDCC at the Sideshow booth so hopefully we can get a better view of the fig. It's odd that they haven't posted any pics of it on their site since MJ Thriller is there.

The deltoid, biceps and various chest muscles look like the muscular body. I wonder if it is a combo of muscular and plastic body or a sleeve of some sort?

here we go, looks like the arms and elbow joint is the same basic design idea that triade is using in their bodies.

I'm excited for this figure, but does anyone think we may at least get a sabretooth to go along with wolverine?

I am hoping for another figure. Only a handful of Movie Masterpiece line contains single characters most have multiple characters. Hellboy II and The Spirit got more than 1 figure produced, I am hoping XMO: Wolverine gets a Sabertooth at least. I may be the minority but I would like a Deadpool too.

Sabretooth is the most obvious next release I think they probably working on it. A final form Deadpool (Baraka) style is probably coming after because the new body looks to be tailored to exposed parts, the chest portion looks similar to what has already been done for Rocky and Rambo, its the arms that newly done, throw some wrappings around the forearms and you've got the beginnings of the figure.

The one that is really a longshot is standard Ryan Reynolds Wade Wilson, I see them going to mutants before him like Gambit or Wraith but with Hannibal King and Hal Jordan on the horizon it won't be too hard to kitbash.

The recent Marvel license announcement has me lowering expectations for figures from this film.

At this point, I think the only other safe bet figure would be Sabertooth, with a slim chance of Deadpool and probably no hope for standard Wade.

I think after 2-3 figures from this film, HT's going to move its X-Men focus over to the trilogy, which I won't mind.

well, considering they've got a M<arvel films master liscense, And there is a deadpool movie in the works, we'll likely get deadpool then.

Neither would I. All you really need from this are Wolverine, Sabertooth, Deadpool and maybe Gambit of which I believe I will only buy Wolverine...but you never can predict how you'll swing once pics appear.

For the trilogy I'd take Wolverine again, any of his casual clothes outfits. I probably then wouldn't be able to resist Magneto and Xavier. Beyond those it'd be wait&see. Tyler Mane Sabretooth would be a maybe as would Mystique as she appeared in all 3 films.

I would want Nightcrawler and Beast.

I forgot about Beast, yes I might have to add him to my list. He was good in X3. Nightcrawler was good too but, I dunno, I prefer the more substantially sized characters for some reason. Or at least characters who appeared in more than one film. Beast fulfils one of those criteria.

I just found out this figures head sculpt is still undergoing a few slight revisions, but they believe it to be virtually there!

I think I'm going to hold out for a DX version of Wolvie. This figure looks fantastic, but I'm curious to see what other versions Hot Toys will make of him via the X-Men films. I would prefer him with his iconic pointy hairstyle and his street clothes, but I suspect the X-Men movie version will only be with his black leather uniform. IF a DX gets made, I would hope it comes with both the street clothes and X-Men uniform, and maybe the 2 hairstyles.
