Ver1s' neck were not very prominent being long.... only on BD Mk. 3...

That is also true. The necks on the originals were a touch long perhaps but not noticeably so and it allowed more articulation. The original Mark II and III actually have better range of motion than the Mark IV and VI.

Excuse my English I do not speak well and do not quite understand
but after reading all this. I think I understand a thing

Do people prefer to sacrifice some good proportions to have more range of motion in the joint?:monkey1

I honestly do not share is something that can not understand:dunno:cuckoo:
listen gentlemen ... we are paying big bucks for our figures
the least we can demand is that they are well proportioned:gah:

this is just a reissue with some improvement but priced DX:pfft:
and poorly proportioned. damn:gah: ... that neck of giraffe please look at the latest pictures .... it is clear that this very bad proportions of the neck

I don't give a crap for gadgets and movement and range of motion, especially if the gadgets are not accurate and/or crappy-looking and prevent correct proportions. The forearm rocket compartment on v1 of the Mark III for instance is inaccurate and doesn't even close well, leaving spaces when unused. HT doesn't need to include every stinking feature on a fig for it to be worthy of my money.

you can not compare a herror of proportions in a forearm or leg. with. This error of the neck. The error of the neck changes the look of a figure.
if we do not complain. HT never do anything

I do not want you to think that I am a maniac for detail.
I think for me and for many fans the figures. the first thing that requires a good general look at the figure and then are the details
but some people who are content to see anything put in front.

the head is too late and too high. this is a fad

I get the head being to high but what do you mean by too late and what is a fad? Long necks?

position of the head is back. is above the shoulders and neck is too long
the head should be more advanced. and more down

is an unforgivable mistake simply because it is easy to correct

Like I said, it's fairly likely that's just a pose thing as well. It's worth mentioning to Hot Toys as a potential problem but it also might not actually be a problem once in hand.

It still doesn't look like a man can really fit in this armor. Unless a dude has a waistline like Megan Fox. The engineering on this is too similar to the Mk. II/III, and nothing like the IV or VI. The abdomen area where the legs connect to the hips looks bad.

On sideshow's site: AU Mk.2 exclusive and non-exclusive costs the same... Why would anyone want pay the same amount for the non-exclusive and get less for their money?

I always wondered about that myself. This isn't the first time, if I recall.

I beg to differ... original Mk. 3 and 2 has a large/lomg neck piece (due to sharing power suppy that powers the chest LED) that only offers slight forward/backward motion, certainly much more limited than Mk.4 & 6's.

the long neck post can be seen on this recoloured Mk. 3

Might be applicable for very limited exclusive that sells out fast (first come, first get), not so with HT figures where copy numbers are not disclosed.
I think I remember with other figures in the past they would charge $5 or $10 extra for the exclusive version.

Yes, but the Mark II and III have much better range of motion imo where it counts. At the base of the skull. You can't really do this with the Mark IV or VI without having the head cocked at a weird angle.

This better range of movement I believe is due to the head having move space for the neck to move around inside of it as well as the neck having that rubber covering that allows more movement.

Good point.... HT should use rubber necks and have the LED light resides in the head instead of the neck
