:lol @ all the Nolancompoops trying in desperation to link anything that looks good to the Batman films. Time to face reality. Film existed before and will exist looooooong after TDKR hits DVD/BR. Truth is, dark films have been around since the black-and-white era and an actor finding "that voice" for a character has been around as long as not just movies, but theatre in general.

:goodpost:

Is it possible the guy at 0:51 is Eric Savin? Looks like he's been in a pretty bad accident, could be what turns him into coldblood.

I mean, thats war machine in the iron patriot armour right? Looks horrible and silly on screen. I dont like the Iron Man suit neither. It looks like peugeots gone and coloured it from their vile 307;

But in all seriousness for a first trailer it was ok but, I didnt see anything to grab my attention apart from the end with Stark dragging the armour, and the rogue armour. Im not bothered about all the action in a trailer, I need to know about the story! Liking the look of Mandarin, but for absolute *****s sake I HATE DON CHEADLE. He is a HORRIBLE Rhody!!!! it was one of two major gripes with Iron Man 2; Terrence Howard was miles better, suited the part. And it was just a carbon copy of iron Man 1's steal/create suit, use it against Stark, Stark finds a way to overcome his own design etc.

i dont read iron man comics or anything, so im not knowledgeable or do I pretend to be knowledgeable, but does anyone know if there going to go darker on the Alcoholism? My friend when I watch Iron Man 2 said its a huge part of Tony's life and that IM2 just glossed it over in childlike fashion and didnt bother going into dark details.

Roll on April and another trailer anyway!

Did anyone catch the 'Captain Anarchy' tattoo on Mandarin's neck? It looks like the Capt. America shield, with an anarchy 'A' in the center.

Lots of speculation on what it could be, ranging from a mere artistic expression about his (Mandarin's) opinions on heroes. (ie. 'Lesson #1: Heroes....There is no such thing.') Or could it be eluding to a deeper meaning with roots in the upcoming Avengers sequel? Or is it something else entirely?

Discuss.

I read an interesting theory that Stark could be mind controlling Mandarin in the tattoo shot, looks like he is wearing some sort of glasses, extremis tech? Giving the bad guy an avengers tattoo is such a Tony Stark thing to do:lol

I still don't like the Iron Patriot design, the Mark 8 is growing on me. I really liked the trailer. It sounds like I'm one of the few that loved IM2, I don't think I'll be dissapointed with this one.

I think this is Chen Lu AKA Radioactive Man, you can see human shaped shadows blasted onto a wall during a scene in the trailer which look like the result of a Radiation blast.

Radioactive man has been confirmed to appear in IM 3

The plot thickens!

Sounds pretty cool, hopefully I can adhere to my No New Trailers mantra.

[Who am I kidding..... ]

In general or just in the movie? I'm not feeling the on screen suit and I thought maybe I was biased because I love the Iron Patriot comic look and not giving it a fair chance.

Actually when I saw the Starkcave get blown up, I thought of this first:
