We've seen from Jack's flashbacks (and with Kate) that he's pretty stupid when it comes to women - Juliet is just one more that is manipulating him for her own ends.

And it doesn't matter that Ethan was acting on his own when he killed the Planies, the fact that the Planies, when recounting past misdeeds of the Others only say that he kidnapped Claire. That seems like just bad writing to me.

Ben has stated numerous times that he was born on the island. Apparently no one can carry a pregnancy on this island. What would have changed after Ben was born? What ever happened to Walt? That story arc just ended like that? Didn't he have special powers that the others were interested in?

I love Juliet. I think she is a genuinely good person at heart who really, really wants to get off the island and will do anything to make that happen. If you were supposed to hate anybody after last night's episode, I should think that it would be Ben.
I think that in the end she will end up playing Ben and fall in love with Jack, like you said Tom, she seems like a genuinely good person. I do hate Ben, that 'Bug eyed' Bastard!! :D

Well, I'm starting to hate Jack more and more. "She's under my protection" Somebody thinks highl of themselves...
Well, everyone on the island did sort of appoint him 'Unofficial Leader' of the cast aways, so if anyone there can make that kind of statement it should be him. He is possibly THE most trusted person there besides Hurley and he is the Doctor for God's sake! I think everyone on the island would be a$$ out if he wasn't there so if he wants to say, "she's under my protection" I think he has earned that right.

Juliet met Ethan and Richard at "HERARAT AVIATION."

So this could either be an anagram for "Earhart"--as in Amelia Earhart (the aviator who vanished in a flight over the pacific Ocean), or a combination of "Hera" (the goddess of women and childbirth) and "Rat" (a person who abandons or betrays his or her party or associates, esp. in a time of trouble).

Either one could be appropriate for Juliet.

They sure do have fun with names on this show...

Wow dude, way to do your research!! :clap

Ill I agree with what you said about Jack. They've all looked at him as the "leader" since day 1. So he's trying to do what he feels is right though he's being a dumb ass about it.

Tom that is some interesting info.

I think that even his decision to leave the island was made with the thought that he could ultimately come back with help and rescue everybody else. Jack is sincerely not just thinking of himself, unlike a lot of others on the island.

Right and he told Kate as much.

Now I'm confused, because I just read that episode 3.20 will be a Ben flashback, and the season finale will be another Jack flashback.

What's going on?

I don't care what amyone says - JACK'S AN IDIOT!!!

Man, what an ego! I wish Sayid or Sawyer or Kate or ANYONE would just slap the big dufus around the head a few times yelling 'Wake up and smell the roses you f!$%ing muppet!' Juliette's leading him round by his short and curlies, and everyone just stands back and lets her. Argh!

Don't be blinded by beauty - I don't care how desperate Juliette is to get off the island, she's a manipulative, self-centred, cold-hearted $%!#...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the first season finale have multiple flashbacks???

I just read that in a first for the series, episode 19 will not feature any flashbacks.

Interesting...

What about episode 2.07 " The Other 48 Days"??? This episode did not have any flashbacks. Unless you count the whole episode as a giant flashback of the tail section.
