Now I'm confused, because I just read that episode 3.20 will be a Ben flashback, and the season finale will be another Jack flashback.

What's going on?

Both tv.com and tvrage.com have Ben's Flashback as the two hour Season Finale. (episode 3.22/3.23)

tv.com lists episode 3.19 as a Jack flashback and tvrage.com does not have info for episode 3.19.

Episode 3.20 is a Charlie Flashback

I dunno. All I can say is that I'm hooked- line and sinker for this frustrating show! :lol
And I do not think it's jumped the shark yet! It's still pretty dang good.

Oh my, quite a beginning to this one! :google

"You guys fighting over your favorite Other?!" :lol :rotfl :lol

The preview showed Sawyer holding Locke down with a knife to his throat, interesting ...

So Penny would have been the pilot otherwise?

Pretty good episode... I am anxious to see Charlies episode in several weeks to see his fate.

Did anyone else notice the photograph on the head monk's desk??? I am 90% positive that the monk was shown in a photograph with the woman who sold Desmond the wedding ring...

Also, I thought the pilot was Alex at first but now I am thinking that it was not.

Sidenote: Tom was right... Jack is the final flashback of the year.

4/25 - Jin/Sun
5/2 - Locke
5/9 - Ben
5/16 - Charlie
5/23 - Jack (2 hours)

Ha, glad you guys caught it. I looked away from the TV and just missed it but when I saw that they were more or less focusing on the picture before they panned up I knew it had to be important.

That was definitely Ms. Hawking in the photo on the desk. I caught it the first time and had to rewind to show my wife.
I had to do the same thing...For my wife, not yours. :D

Great episode (for once). Desmond is an interesting character. I just hope his pay-off isn't as disappointing as many of the other resolutions have been.

Most importantly, one of the island's biggest mysteries has been solved--we finally know what kind of music Bernand plays when he and Rose are getting it on:

Tonight's show was very good :rock. I liked Sawyers line that Matt quoted above that was funny. :lol Also the picture I noticed that as well but thought I was just getting tired and seeing things. I can't wait to see where this ends up at. I love this show and to me every episode is pretty darn sweet.

OK--- dumb question as I was tired as I watched and the little one was having difficulty going to bed--- who WAS the pilot that parachuted onto the island?

Did I miss something?--- as I didn't recognize her at all from any of the flashbacks.

Also, Executive producer Carlton Cuse had this to say about the finale: "Let's just say the end of the season features a showdown between Jack and Locke — a showdown long anticipated and a showdown with an extremely significant outcome for the future of the castaways."

Add to that the fact that the season finale will feature Jack flashbacks, and when characters die they die at the end of their flashback episode.

Add to that the fact that Matrix writer/directors the Wachowski brothers just signed Matthew Fox to star in their new movie Speed Racer.

Could it be possible that Jack is going to die in the season finale? And will Locke be the one to kill him? I'm not sure they would be willing to shake things up that much, but if they want to do something completely unexpected they can build us up for Charlie's death and then kill off the closest thing the show has to a main character instead (or as well). I would say that Jack's death would be considered "extremely significant." I'm almost positive that he's going to be betrayed by Juliet, and if the exec producer says that he is also going up against Locke as well, then poor Jack is looking to have a rough time in the near future.

(Perhaps this is also why they planted that little seed a few weeks ago from Hurley about Sawyer needing to step up and be the new leader.)

Oh lord... this is making me nervous. Jack can't die, he never found his fathers body (did he?) and Claire doesn't know that they are brother and sister and little Aaron is his nephew and just.. no. lol

But I'd have to admit that would make me scream at the TV for quite some time if Jack did die, just like all the previous season finales.

Edit: Thought of this as I was posting... what if this is collateral damage? Locke kills Juliette and Jack get's Lockes father?

The way that the series has so many twist and turns, I can actually see Jack dying and not having a major problem with it. The characters make the story compelling both they are not needed individually to keep the story going. So the loss of a major character would not be as damaging to this series as it would be for others like 24.

I can easily say that Jack has always been my favorite character, but the past season or so I have felt they have underused him too much. He was pretty much set up to be the main character in the series in the beginning, but I just don't see that anymore. I really have been thinking over the past few weeks that he might very well die soon, and I guess it would make some sense if it was Locke. Though they would never kill each other, they HAVE been arguing over many things since the beginning of the show, and goodness knows that Locke doesn't like being told what he can't do. I guess Jack might piss him off for the last time. Yeah, if the Others end up killing Jack, it's totally time for war. The survivors won't take that without a fight.

Also, I'm thinking Locke has established himself as an Other. Dunno if he's coming back to the other side.

EDIT: And yeah, I almost forgot, I don't care if this show gets TOO weird or crazy, I WILL see this show through to the end, no matter what.

Argh! I hate reading about episodes that haven't been shown yet! Even if they are rumors. I enjoy going into an episode not knowing.

They better not kill Jack or I'm gonna be pissed and it turns out to be Locke I'll really be ticked. I can't stand Locke and I've considered him a bad guy for a lone while now. He's about as smart as a box or rocks as far as I'm concerned.

03/11 - Lost was filming in downtown Honolulu again, this time near Chinatown. They set up along College Walk and North Kukui St., near a Taoist temple and within view of assorted Asian architecture. It was along the river, or canal, that borders downtown. They were filming a busy street scene with background extras crossing a bridge, including a cop in a blue shirt and a white hat. Pigeons scattered on cue. The focus of the scene was Yunjin Kim, or "Sun." She approaches a middle aged Asian woman leaning against the low wall of the canal. Sun pulls an envelope out of her bag, and hands it to the woman. The woman eagerly starts to open in, but Sun clamps it closed. They talk. Sun pushes the envelope sternly into the woman's hands, turns, and walks away. Source: The Transmission [Note: Pictures can be seen here.]
