Yeah. It was pretty messed up. I really believe Kojima is brilliant, but he shouldn't have been the sole creative director or force behind the story of MGS. He really needed someone to tailor his ideas. Liquid and Solidus, in the grand scheme of things, were more "good" than Solid. What makes Solid so great, is that despite everything, he does what is best for everyone. He knows that the Patriots need to be taken care of, but he also knows that killing innocent people isn't the right way to do it. That's my impression anyway. He seems like the opposite of an idealist, but in reality I think he's very much an idealist. In the sense that he believes all people need protecting, and no one deserves to die for someone else's ideals. I don't know.. it's pretty tough to get a good grasp on things when they change so often.
