Short answer no. Streaming is pre-encoded to run as smoothly as possible so a lot of bitrate is lost.
I'm just an audio/videophile Gaspar. The only thing I did was some music video that got Platinum Games' attention because I was enduring a nasty breakup at the time.
I think if your PC can run recent games, you can definitely run HD videos in stunning quality. You'll need Windows Media Player Classic, MadVR, and FFDshow first and foremost.

If it's any consolation, my Quad Core i5 3570K (overclocked) with a GTX 650 GPU (which is also overclocked) struggles somewhat to play high-definition videos. In the end, you really need an epic gaming PC for looseless audio and video.
I use Media Player Classic with an old version of the K-lite codec pack.
