Well, he's been wanting to leave forever now.

I was talking about Silent Hills though, MGSV is already in the bag I'm not worried about that one.

But Silent Hills.... With Del Toro.... and that amazing atmosphere, that freaking demo was easily the best horror game I played in years.

I'm really starting to think the link is severed permanently between Koji Pro and Konami. I doubt he'll jump ship to any company outside of Japan though. Capcom wouldn't be feasible since they've talked about having a buy out.

If they can carry on making the games they can carry on producing merchendise

It really depends on who they get in charge of the merch. From what we've been told its Konami who choose which character is made by the companies. Will Shinkawa still have input, even if he left with Kojima? Will the quality of the merchandise drop, will they make make deals with different comapnies rather thn continue with what we've had so far?
