Weird how each mission opens and closes with credits. Save that **** for the end. It's like episodes for some reason. Got a feeling they did so to add or rather sell more episodes via DLC.

That and Ocelot aside the game is great. Perfect espionage action, graphics and gameplay

You guys ready for Microtransactions with the Forward Operating Base? :lol

Credits for each mission sounds pretty strange. Is it just the same credits rolling over and over when you complete missions, or do the screens look any different?

I'm glad you're enjoying the game guys! I got my copy reserved at GameStop, and I hope to play it tomorrow evening! As much as I love MGS, I'm not going to get it at midnight. The only media event I went to at midnight was The Dark Knight Rises, because I really wanted to see Bane done justice.

I don't buy that Snake speaking less is due to Sutherlands cost as the cassettes have him talking a fair bit.

For those playing isn't there supposed to be a watch function where you can advance time?

Not that I think it did from the very beginning, but this doesn't justify Hayter's firing.

As strange as it sounds, Konami really seems opened to fans now. Robert Peller (the KojiPro representative) was pretty active on the Steam forums for over a year, and he has been taking suggestions for the PC version back to KojiPro. I have no idea how the PC port will turn out. But, it's pretty rare to see that kind of openness, where a big studio sends one of their guys to personally take feedback from fans.

If Konami keeps this up this kind of communication with fans, maybe we'll see Hayter return in a future MGS game...

Well, that's just odd. So, have they sacrificed the opportunities for cutscenes with cassette tapes?

Tactical episode action?

I have little desire to grind **** out in a MGS game and make cute little emblems like a cod tard. The more I hear about it, the less appealing this is getting.

So, is Big Boss mute through pretty much the entire game? After all of the exposition in the previous games, that seems really out of place.
Snake is incredibly mute. Some scenes actually feel painfully silent. Theres one scene, i wont say who with or why - but it was about 10 minutes long and he didnt say a single word. And it just felt like the game was incomplete, like one of the audio tracks was missing.

Well, the PC port doesn't look good from what I posted last page and also showed you, like wtf? I'm not sure what to make of Konami anymore but I think what you mentioned makes sense.

Casette tapes would work in other games, given how they're established, like TLoU's, Resident Evil (with files rather), and Dead Space's...doesn't make sense in MGS at all, with how the stories play out in that game.

damn, youre making me scared im not gonna like the game kiva, cmon man!
Im really enjoying the game, so much so that tomorrow im gonna dedicate myself to doing all of the side-ops i skipped while i was doing story missions. i wanna upgrade all of my goodies and such.

I bet the individual credits was so Konami wouldn't forget who made the game, I really think that.

And, as much as I'd like to get another MGS, I don't want an MGS without Kojima, even with Hayter, or maybe I would.... If it wasn't Konami.

To hell with it, just give me the MG remakes.
