So can someone tell me what's up with all the Moby **** references? Ishmael, Ahab, Pequod and the whaling boat at the beginning? What's the point of all of it?

Off the top of my head

Moby **** was about revenge, cultural and ethnic diverse groups on a ship, Ahab obsessed with wanting revenge because his ship had been destroyed. Its been a long time since I read the book, but “You can call me Ishmael” is one of the most memorable phrases in literature.

Not really... I thought Gaspar filled you in on the drama in the Marvel section. The fake account popped up again on the very day he self-terminated.

I know all that, I don’t think that makes him a bad person, for the most part he was always cool and cordial with everyone here. I think most of us in this thread are *******s to a certain degree, thats why theres so much drama in this thread :lol

It's the literally the longest and most boring book ever written. I've never met anyone who's actually read it. But, if you did, that's a lifetime accomplishment. Just like reading out the Bible from beginning to end :lol.

I'm glad we haven't had a fight in here in over a year, though. I'd say those years are safely behind us.

Except for Gaspar. The guy doesn't even know the proper usage of "buzzword", and he keeps arguing about it.

@Solidus Yes it is, but pls, stop, I'm an easy target right now.

No I won't, and yes YOU are.

:lol :lol :lol

More boring than One hundred years of solitude?

Here's my unread copy of Di*ky Moe that I was going to use for a book report in grade 10. But, then I figured, hell naw. It's been on the shelf for 14 years now...

I read it for a class, it is pretty boring. :lol It's one of the reasons I don't read regular books these days. I could read Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Bourne Novels (to an extent), but I couldn't go back to books like that.

I kinda had to read parts of the Bible for Religion class in Catholic school, I...would rather not say anything to avoid pissing off Christians :lol
Yeah, I'm just trolling you Gaspar. Thanks for playing :lol.

Just getting into things, not very far in yet but really liking the game quite a bit, the mother base thing looks to be interesting, hopefully it can be developed more to serve as more interactive when there, took a couple of screen shots, not the best but I thought I would share anyway.

Same, I can read everything but classic novels aren't my thing anymore, ironically I loved them when I was younger, the older I get the sillier the stuff I like.

I like to read mythology though, just read the epic of Gilgamesh, that ****'s cash yo.

Except for Gaspar. The guy doesn't even know the proper usage of "buzzword", like Inbred Rex , and he keeps arguing about it.

Dude, you gave away your power levels, you can't bait me any longer.

I only read comic books, and manga these days :lol can't be bothered with anything else

Oh yeah, had to read Gilgamesh for a history class. Pretty good stuff, not gonna lie, I was intrigued.

Solidus's power level is maximum :lecture

Did any of you guys try the chicken hat as yet? I heard that if you wear it, it even appears in the cutscenes. Would be cool to use it for those serious moments :lol.
