Well, this IS a figure. So it's gonna be hard to ever make it right for that pose without making it a statue specifically for it.

I get that it's a figure, but the repulsor pose is his most iconic, even in the comics, so it's just a bummer they've never been able to figure a way to make him be able to do it.

You'll be okay with the gantry pose (I'm assuming that means the arms just outstretched to the sides) It's when he reaches out in front of his body, making the "stop" repulsor firing pose. That's when the shoulder armor rotates to the back of the fig.

The problem is the comics are 2d, and the movie is cgi. The iron man armor would never move or protect or function in a true to source 3d figure. It's just not anatomically possible that it would work. So you can't expect it to do everything, or even a large portion of the movement depicted in drawings or CG.

I understand the differences between art/CGI and something actually physically needing to function. I'm not asking for this thing to actually fly, just raise his arm forward and not look awkward as hell. As I said, Sideshow did a very simple/crude version of this with the Clones, I had just hoped that with all the amazing R&D that Hot Toys has making mindblowing things like the Hulkbuster and Ultron, that Ironman could just raise his arm forward. You know?

used a promo code to PO this figure, very excited for it. Looks very good and save $20.

pfft... who knows, the only solid answer I could give you is 'soon' :dunno
I thought it would come out with the Constuct version but this may have been delayed due to the AOU line

 hopefully it does come out soon, but you're probably right, HT is focusing on the AOU line.

I'd love to see them revisit the first film more, like a Jericho suit and Cave versions, with a chess set, anvil and hammer, a new Mech version, Tony in tux.
