that is a rockn figure. The details are so crisp, even better then the stark figure.

Thanks for the pics OMG, brilliant as always.

Awesome figure. The face and hair are both phenomenal.

Unfortunately for me, I have this rule about seeing joints in my figures that I simply cannot overlook, as great as this fig is. Hopefully, HT will make the v2 of Whiplash.

I think Whiplash will go up in price like Ironman MKI did. Better get him now, instead of 8 months from now when he will be over $250

This is what is keeping me from ordering this figure as well. I am almost considering making some new leather straps to cover these joints, even though that would make him less movie accurate.

Go for it. If you can hide the joints, who cares if it's not 100% movie-accurate? In the end, no figure is 100% absolutely accurate. If you do decide to make straps to hide those joints and the result is satisfying, please share with pics.

man wow that sculpt is ridiculous... Very well done by hot toys..

If I get it (who am I kidding...WHEN I get it :D ), I plan to take a small strip of tattered black cloth and tie it around that cut joint...problem solved.

Turned out really good.. I still haven't put in my order though. I'll wait and see what Ebay auctions start going for when we get it in hand state side.

Buy statue.

:lol

But seriously, joints doesn't really bother me that much, especially for a figure with so many amazing details as this. :rock

Whiplash has landed in my outlet. It's a fantastic effort by HT. The headsculpt has improvements compared to the proto. The chin is not as pointy and the hair detailing better. I also felt that the eyes are not as squinty as the proto.

If you are not convinced about this figure from the proto pics, you will be after seeing the final production version. It's actually better. HT has proven again and again that they can deliver a product that is actually better than the prototype.

The tattoo work is a milestone in this scale. It actually looks like it is really under the skin as opposed to the usual 'printed on top' look that these figure tend to have.

I predict this fgure will go the way of Mark 1, i.e not in very high demand during pre-order period but will skyrocket once the thing is out.

I have a lot of customers kicking themselves now for not pre-ordering, especially after the Mark V reveal.

An odd thing about the figure though. The battery is not in the compartment but it is included. Make sure you have those really tiny philip screwdriver on hand. You need to remove two of those freaking small screws before you can access the battery compartment.

Be very careful with those screws cause they are SUPER TINY.

Feel free to ask me any questions and I will try my best to answer them.

Sorry I can't take any pics because all the units available here are already reserved for the customer. It would be inappropriate for me to open one up to take pictures. However, you can check out the pics that my boss took in our forum at https://www.xl-shop.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7805

We do international shipping and we ship by Fedex. Feel free to check us out at xl-shop.com or e-mail us for a shipping quote. We do however need full payment for pre-order.

I also need to inform you that we do not always get HT stuff this fast. For really popular and in high demand items, we might only get them a few weeks later.

A really great Rouke sculpt. Well done HT. The eyes are missing the normal glazed, soul less expression enhancing the figure. I cannot wait. :clap
