Uh oh. My wife found the price of Iron Monger. She is NOT happy about it and said that I have to choose - either her or Iron Monger.

I am really going to miss her.

Well...went ahead and pre-ordered one from CCS. I doubt id be able to find it cheaper than I got it there. My wife knows what they all cost but lucky for me she lets me spend my own money most of the time on my own stuff. I told her a while back that I would be getting this one and a few other things in this coming year My wife rocks...as long as I do not go buck wild like buying the wolf predator LSF.

Congrats on the purchase! I have one on PO at Corner Store Comics. Very excited for this. Its gonna be awesome!
I had the 3A Rex on PO, but that one looks to iffy to me now. This Iron Monger is going to be f'n Great! Cant wait!

Looking at the OS sculpt, it's probably the best looking release Hot Toy's have done lately in terms of paint and texture IMO.

Much better than the latest DX figures, Cap, Skull etc etc that all have that soft toyish look.

So can anybody that owns him confirm whether or not his bulk will fit in a detolf (with a shelf removed for height of course). I remember that OMG alluded that he could not, but I just can't see how he wouldn't be able to squeeze in there at an angle with his arms at his sides?

I have yet to try those... but with Hulk and Monger coming, I guess I need to snag some.

The width is my big concern. With the way OMG put it, it sounded like he wasn't going to fit regardless of the height...

That is my thought too. If I can squeeze the Gantry in one, I can't see how he wouldn't... But I can't seem to find anything other than that original statement by OMG as to how he fits...
