Get the monger soon, or you regret it! It´s the absolute centerpiece of my collection and everyone notices it first. And it looks so faboulos in hand! I bent the knees on the first day to get it in my cupboard and give him various poses from time to time. But no crack has ever been worse. It stays the same and is a factory fault, which I and many others here, don´t mind. So I say it again: GET THE MONGER BEFORE IT`S SOLD OUT! :wave

Do it! No regret :yess:

I readjusted my shelves last night so Monger could stand next to the other marks.
It meant moving Jake Sully down a spot, which meant moving Bruce Wayne and the armoury into the spot of the Light Cycle, and moving the Light Cycle onto the top of the detolfs. It will all be remedied when my 7 piece HOA arrives.

Nice!!!! :hi5:

Congrats mate, what are your thoughts? He's my all time favourite HT figure.

I really appreciate the work that went into him.
My all time favourite HT?
Perhaps Coulson.
There's so much going on his his facial sculpt.
But i'd say this is definitely one of my favourites, and it's on an equal footing with most of my collection. Can't love one of them without loving all of them.
With this one, the MKVII and the Light Cycle you can see that they REALLY pulled out all the stops to make these bespoke items.
And well done HT for being so bold.
I only wish i had Sweet-Pea, Blondie and Rocket for my Sucker Punch shelf.

Looking great Bar and you also have room for another Detolf to the left! ;)

I just picked up 2 more over the weekend and wired them up - decided to give your 2 strips per shelf a try and it worked out very nicely :D

I have pondered this myself...
But when the HOA is out, i shall have no IM figures in shelves. So *technically* i'll have more room.
But...
I have three Henry Cavill Clark Kent's planned, plus two Jor-El, Four Man Of Steel, Robocop with Chair, ED-209, and Snake Plissken on order...
So i might have to get that other Detolf after all...

Sweet!
You will have to post pics.

I have to agree with the others here, saying it's a must have.
It's got a great presence on your display of 1/6 figures.

It desperately needs a Mk.III v2.0 however.

Yes, the Mark III hasn't aged well and I guess from what people seem to be saying about it, was never very good from the start. Probably my two favourite designs are the III and IV, so I hope SSC gives them both a reboot. There were some rumours of those marks maybe being redone in diecast, but since HT seems to be reconsidering the DC line (which I'm fine with), hopefully we get new versions in plastic with a PVC codpiece to prevent the fading issue.

I think you got that the wrong way round.

Not sure what you're referring to, User. My understanding is Howard put any further diecast figures on hold but I'm hoping for new revisions, regardless.

Been reading about Mark III 2.0's since I joined this forum :lol

It seems to be the most iconic suit to a lot of people and they apparently screwed it up twice. Its not my favorite but ill def wait and get one if they do a 2.0 since the past two were crap from the pics ive seen.

You said that Sideshow is going to give the Iron Man figures a reboot.

And that Hot Toys is reconsidering it's DC line.

I was referring to the fact that Sideshow have never made IM figures and HT isn't the company that is reconsidering it's DC line.
That's all.
