Not to the point the Habs have dominated. NO ONE other than the Yankees has more Championships that Montreal. My point was made with my first retort. 24 cups....need I say more? i notice that you habs fans are crawling out of the woodwork after a great season. where have you been over the last 15 seasons? waiting for the opportunity to prove you are a braggert? there are MANY great teams in today's NHL and anyone of them can win in any season. the dynasty is dead.

and btw, roy doesn't consider himself a true hab. he wanted to distance himself from that a-hole organization and has said many times he will go to the hall of fame as an avalanche. sounds like you guys are crying over spilled milk, wishing roy had remained with montreal but the FACT is, he retired an av and won two cups with colorado. maybe if your organization valued their stars, they would have had roy play for them his entire career.

roy has been quoted in interviews on several occasions that he wants nothing to do with the montreal organization. you don't have to know someone to read a sports interview. as a matter of fact, roy dissed the montreal org at the hof induction ceremony in 2006 by telling the story how they tried to change his 'butterfly' goaltending style. when he made his first appearance at a canadiens practice, he said, "i was going butterfly and was diving for every puck and (coach) jacques lemaire said, 'do you need a mattress and a pillow?'"

maybe you should read more and educate yourself instead of being a know it all homer, that obviously knows diddley squat.

i think you're confused. roy is canadian and most likely loves the city of montreal and the province of quebec. he just hates the montreal canadian HOCKEY club and the way he was treated by his coach, management and ownership. so you say his dream is to coach the habs? i'll believe it when i see it. sounds like wishful dreaming.

I know what you mean, and he sure has a feeling of resentment toward the organisation, except all the involved players from that incident (Ronald Corey,Rejean Houle and Mario Tremblay) are long gone now.
