Sure it counts....how was it? I would have been in awe walking into that place. It probably would have took a hour or so to calm down and really enjoy the sites. The new plan is to visit the Bell Center....but with a family iit get difficult sometimes.

Montreal is gorgeous, especially old Montreal. All I remember is there is an abundance of churches and the bridges are insane!

No..Unfortunately not game worn Eli. It's just an authentic CCM Jersey lettered and numbered with the Stanley Cup Final patch sewn on.

I loved the Special Whites Montreal wore I think it was last year or the year before. I'm on the lookout for one of those babies.

The Lemieux's a game worn jersey?

Do I have 20,000+ to spend on a jersey? hehe

I tease bro...Oh I wished I could say it was game worn. Most I would spend is 1,500 for a Getzlaf.. I do want a Lucic.. that kid is gonna be a HUGE star! REMEMBER THAT NAME.. Milan Lucic...

P.S. The Lemieux jersey is official, of that year, with the Cup final, Pens 25th Ann., and Badger Johnson patches.

Yeah I was thinking a game worn jersey would cost a fortune. Post some pics of it when you get it! Was that the Stars or Blackhawk final?

Blackhawk Final. Bowman coached the 92 Cup winning Pens team.

North Stars was 91, and Badger was still alive. He coached the Pens to their first of two Cups.

Holy Crap Kit! Thats awesome! Are those all authentic jerseys? I've always liked those old Minnesota Northstar jerseys. How many you have there?

Most are "authentic" as in " same as worn on ice", but not game worn by players. The Gonchar is game worn. The Blackhawks is a "team issue" jersey meaning it came directly from the team, but was not worn in a game. If those were all game worn I fear how much I would have spent on them. They are not cheap as is :lol

The Slovac Bondra and the Simon are both signed by the players.

I also have a small collection of about 5 game used, signed sticks.

Very impressive.....and you are right even the replicas anymore are outrageous...though I really don't care for the feel of the replica jerseys. Gotta have that fighting strap hittting you in the back!

Mine are not "replica". They are authentic with fight straps. Just not game worn by players.

I have 4 game worn jerseys and one game issued.

Game issued means that the jersey was made for the player either didn't use the jersey or was injured. In most cases it's due to an injury, trade, or a promotion or demotion. That would have meant had the player been available for the games the jersey was made up for, he would have dressed in it.

Most of my jerseys are rare and one has an ES of 72. 30 of which were game worn or game issued and the other 42 were blanks sold to the public. My rarest jersey goes for about 1,000-1,400. All depending who wore it, because of how sharp it looked, the sentimental value, what it stands for... has a Legion patch, code of arms, and some other crests/patches. I'll try and put up pictures of it. It's an 05/06 desert cammo military jersey.

My next purchases will be...

Milan Lucic, Ryan Getzlaf, and David Booth. I wished I could afford to get a Crosby or Malkin. lol

YeaH I realize that I was just saying even the replicas themselves aren't cheap and I don't like the feel of 'em anyway.

The worst authentic game jerseys were the Edge jerseys issued out this year by Reebok. I got to see a lot of the Manitoba Moose gamers and man did they go through hell and back. All I can say is Frankenjersey. One third of the jerseys were stitched up, and heck I saw one tear right down the middle, and not at the seem, but through the actual material! With little effort and force! Plus, players often complained that the Edge jerseys were like thermoses. They soaked in their own sweat. I thought these things were engineered to wick like nobody elses business? If there were a Frankenstein of jerseys, the Edge jerseys would fit that to a tee... or jersey.. get it? Ha..ha... Made no sense that RBK and the NHL switched to these jerseys. Apparently they were supposed to hold up better compared to the old ones, but didn't. Wick better opposed to the old ones, but didn't. They also are so thin and lightweight... the team logo crest weighs more than the rest of the jersey. I am glad that all of the teams and leagues are killing off the shortly lived Edge jerseys and going back to the old heavier and bulkier jerseys.
