As I just said in the other thread. If people want their complaints to be taken seriously they have to mind what they said and be calculated in how you say it. Flying off the handle or restoring to name calling isn't going to get one very far.

Freaks writing a calculated statement? C'mon, Josh...this is the Freaks board! :lol :lol :lol ;)

Calculated can still include adjectives, adverbs, and phrases and clauses...We are not in front of a judge here

It can depending on what vault you get your vocab words from.

Edit: That's all I've got to say on the issue. I wish it came with the saber but it doesn't. The statue will still look great on my shelf. :rock

Seriously, is plain stupid to accuse someone to 'be a kid' if they complain for a missing piece.
We are customers that spend over 350$ on this product, I suppose we have the right to complain. Then again, if you're happy eating **** and pretending it's chocolate, then I won't wake any of you from your dreamy world.

Let me bring you to some of the people and places I've worked in the past.....youll change your tune real quick in regards to how you would deal with em...or just never come back...LOL....It is a great statue...but not perfect any more or what all of us ordered

Do we have the right to complain?

Yes, but a person can express their dissatisfaction in a calm, mature manner instead of a ranting tirade and without resorting to name calling.

Any chance of you getting your NRD back? I mean, you preordered under the assumption you would be getting everything that was promised in their listing. I can only imagine what their reasoning would be to deny someone their NRD should they decide to cancel.

Respect works both ways. They showed no consideration to their customers by not divulging the fact that the hilt would no longer be included with the statue. Instead they allow all of their customers to find out through other customers on a forum. I think they've earned some sarcastic remarks aimed towards their shady business practices.

No dude, I'm sorry. I can't agree with this comment. You want to know why? YOU CAN RETURN IT!!!!:gah:

How hard is that for you to understand????? Not just you, but everyone! Hell....it would be blatant disrespect on SS's part if they said, "hell no, you can't return it. We don't care the lighsaber hilt isn't there. Take it in the buttocks like a sucka fwad." Now that's blatant disrespect.

The fact they said, well if you get it and you aren't satisfied with the lack of hilt, you can return it gives YOU a way out. I'm sure SS reps must feel like this sometimes.

As said above, respect works both ways.
The matter is not the little piece of plastic that is missing -even tho it's an important piece on this statue-, it's the fact that this statue has been delayed and they had all the time to inform us that a piece was not to be included anymore. Because that's how HONEST people work.
And, for what reason? Unknown. On a $349 statue, they cut off a little piece that for them wouldn't cost anything to produce.

I live in Europe guys, this statue is €349 for me, almost $450. And I seriously should pay OTHER MONEY to commission a custom hilt? This is crazy.

Also, what hurts the most, is: I can't really imagine the stupid, dumb idiot who decided not to include the hilt. What were they expecting? That we wouldn't notice? That we spend a s**tload of money like a bunch of full retards? This is such a bad decision, such a pointless move, that really, I feel insulted.

Here is an answer for you....DONT BUY IT!!!:nono

We all understand that...but some of us fell in love with this piece...we all know we can return it...but the fact they they wont even partially refund you for a "missing" item is IMHO wrong

thats just simple not the solution !!

First is the fact, that SSC is fooling us !! They selling us their products with pictures of an item.. and we commit to it.. and at the end we get something that is not the same. Period. Yes you can return it.. but is this really the solution in both perspectives.. Customer and Supplier ?? I dont think so !

Also as a customer.. you are looking forward to the promised item .. you wait almost a year ... just then to return it because its not the same as promised ?

:lecture :exactly: :goodpost: :lecture

After all this time on the Freaks board it still amazes me how supposed "adults" lose their minds and act like they're back on the playground.

That's what I'm sayin. It's like a bunch of crying schoolchildren.

I come to these forums to read about each of these statues that interest me and see pics of whatever statue is being shown. I don't come here to read the endless amounts of incessant badgering and blatant asinine disrespect towards a company that is trying to bring out collectibles that would not otherwise be made.

If a product is broken or has some serious paint apps thats fine to talk about it and RESPECTFULLY bring it to SS attention. But the jargon and terrible vitriol that is espoused towards SS or any company sometimes is just baffling.

handle it your way Loric.. if you dont like it.. dont read it ;)

I totally agree with you on this, Loricstone.

To use this logic...if you don't like it don't buy it or return it. Simple.

Loric, you're missing out that 'til yesterday the piece was supposed to be different. If the whole customer-supplier relation would be based on 'don't like? don't buy!', I'd probably buy just the strict necessary.
