dont give SS any ideas for variants :lol

Oh thanks. So Vader from Soul Calibur IV is probably a mix of the different armors put together?

Vader from Soul Calibur is from around the time of The Force Unleashed, maybe a bit before, so around 3-2 BBY...

His model is the same as in The Force Unleashed, mainly ROTS-esque, but with a hint of ANH...

He's set to be battle damaged in the story at some point, so it wouldn't suprise me if that's when he switched to his ANH look and lightsaber...

:mwaha...............i'd buy that for a dollar. could pose him with the emporer right before he chunks him down the reactor core.

Well the thing I like about the fabrics that Sideshow uses as a general rule is that they're natural fibers. Out of the box this makes them appear stiff, puffy, and they don't drape worth a damn. Heavy synthetic weaves can lay much better and gives you a more realistic simple standing look.

Sideshow though, like I said doesn't really much use synthetics. The thing you can do with natural fiber textiles that you can't do with synthetics is pose them with water. This for me is preferable as it gives you far more in the way of display and posing options. The cape looks to be a similar fabric to the outfit on their Maul which means with a little water it will drape like a dream.

It's all down to preference I guess.

If they are using natural fibers for the cape that mean you can pose it using water. Both RAH Vaders have the thing thread in the cape that helps this.

The one thing I really appreciated about the Medicom Vader is the quality of the cape. No obvious stitch lines and feels like a cape should. It's easy to water treat and get out all the wrinkles too.

I never tried to water treat my 2 RAH Vaders. Does it work fine?

Page 2?!? Man, we gotta get our priorities straight :lol

Today I sent off my Medicom Vader to his new home... I am officially Vaderless until Q2 2009 :rock

I just bought a RAH ROTS Vader to join my Medicom troops and his ROTJ brother. :) And SS Vader (and stormies) will come as well. One can never have too many Vaders
